I understand that but like it's retail , it's not serious at all and has nothing to do with the job i wanna do
Do you not understand how employers operate? You generally have to disclose any criminal history as well as past employment related complaints/violations to a new employer (if you want the job anyway). Do you want to potentially have to explain away a sexual harassment claim (even if it is BS) to your future employer? I mean knock yourself out if you don't care. Why you are willing to take a risk like that over a woman I have no idea.

yeah one concern is she's a bit flirty with everyone , although people have noticed she's taken special attention to me. Should I consider her to be a " attention ***** ".
That's actually a problem. The thing is, work is the perfect place for an attention whoare because they can bat their eyelids at men all day long but if a man makes a move she can go to HR. You can't be as direct as you might like to be and this gives women room to play games.

I think the best way to play it is to not make any moves at work, beyond inviting her out for a drink. If she comes out with you (and comes alone) then you can make a move. But if she's giving you anything less than full cooperation (excuses, playing stupid, etc), then you have to write her off as an attention whoare and stop giving her attention.

One of my jobs I work in retail part time and in my department a girl the same age as me has joined recently and there's instant flirting and attraction off the bat. I know I could but is it a bad idea ?

Like to hear some advice generally on this topic and for my specific situation.

Thanks
These types of questions are commonly and repeatedly asked on this forum. Search, research, and read before you post. And trust us, your situation is not specific or unique. This is an old dilemma which ultimately, wise men will tell you do not go for it but if you are p***y whipped you will go for it. If you are that type of guy, don't bother asking cause you will go for it regardless.
