Is Condo-Hotel A great Deal or Not?

I believe owning a home is a form of investment. The value of the house often appreciates in value. It gives the owner a place in the community, and a desire to make it better. A dwelling includes any structure that serves as a residence.

I didn't know until now that a kind of housing like Condo-Hotels are no longer considered an investment. Hotels nowadays are a risky business perhaps because of the different factors like economy and competition. The hotel business as we all can see now is very volatile. Earnings drop significantly during downturns, thus, making them not such a good deal. How about you? What do you think? Does investing in condo-hotel would make you any good?
