The other common perception is that our culture is actually eliminating gender distinctions, as feminism tears down the natural differences that make gender work. In the anti-feminist dystopian mind, this amounts to feminizing boys and men.

It could also be that the male and female gender is basically becoming reversed (or just being homogenized), meaning that women will be in power over men shortly.

Does the author realize that a country like America does not change overnight? The fall into a dystopian society would be gradual. He was also being dishonest about the clothing trends. My mom told me girls were not allowed to wear pants to school until... 1968. Below is Carl Wilson describing feminism in relation to our downfall. In his opinion, it's always man's fault feminism ever gets started.
