“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Do you girls prefer to text rather talk on the phone when you first start getting to know them?

I went out with a girl a couple of times, we always texted to set up meetings. Nothing ever happened, but last time we revealed that we had a mutual interest in each other, we kissed, and decided we would keep going out.
So in an effort to make things more personal, I called this girl to setup another meeting. She didn't answer, but decided to text.
In the end she did agree to another meeting. I called a couple of days later to agree on a time and she didn't pick up again. I've kinda decided to not actually call her again and the only reason I will text her is because she did agree to another meet up. Other than that, I would walk away.

I have to say I'm not down with texting when I'm actually interested in a girl, but is it something that one needs to accept nowadays?

Its far superior so use it to your advantage.

I don't ever call (nor do girls call me) unless it's something that needs to be pretty immediate. IE., Something came up so I have to cancel drinks 20 mins before we were supposed to meet up.

At least in my area and age group, calling people is considered "weird" unless you're friends.

Well, I use both of them, and each one has it's specific advantages.

But I got to tell you, from my experience. Girls do like it when you call!

You may say they don't. They may tell you they don't. But they DO!

Simply put. Everyone is texting, you are calling! You do stand out in the crowd. Nowadays, you have to have balls to call. No one is used to it anymore, so it is trully a bonus point for you in boldness!

I've have heard all kinds of opinions from girls about calling. Many saying that they don't like it, because it is weird.
But let's be honest, when was the last time women advice played out right for us..? Yeah, never!

Anyway, they usually never pickup at first, as they are caught off guard (and that is why I love calling. It gets them out of THEIR confort zone). And they may even message you back, asking if you had called her. Just ignore it, and call her again!

If you have solid game, and if you had solid interaction with said girl in order to call, do it! It amazes them.
They tell about you to their girl friends and you get respect points for doing it! Trust me!

There is a brazilian saying that goes something like this, 'In blind man's land, who's got an eye is king', so applying this to nowadays situation.

"In whatsapp land, the ones calling are kings"

In contrast to the above view, I don't think texting is greater than calling. If anything, calling is greater than texting. First, texting is very impersonal. The girl does not know your tone, speech pase, doesn't hear your voice, etc. As a result, a clever joke can be completely misinterpreted as an insult because your are relying on the recipient's interpretation of words on a screen. Second, it is very easy to unknowingly demonstrate desperation and/or to get ignored though a text. It is a relatively passive form of contact that can take hours for the exchange of a miniscule amount of information. Third, we all know not to listen to what women say they want, however, I've seen some of my girlfriends give guys negative points because "if he's such a wuss to ask me out through a text, I don't think this is the guy I want to date." Needless to say, there will be women who are uncomfortable with phone calls. People in our generation (late teens and early 20s) are becoming more disconnected to face-to-face interpersonal interaction and more conmected towards clicking a "like" button on a screen or share images of what they are doing.

In conclusion, calling is still superior than texts. Once you establish rapport with your target, however, texting can be a quick and short way of confirming meets ups, even when both of you are busy at the time of setting the plan. When you are at a party, do you communicate by taking to people or do you text them? Think about the pros and cons of both calling and texting.

I'm older and tend to date younger women so I'm kind of in the fence. The rough policy I've taken is to text if they are under 30, call if over. Or some combo...like text for a bit then ask if it's a good time to call. Then call and make plans.

And the jury is still out on that. I've been having mixed results lately and I'm not sure if it's text vs calling or just straight up low interest in some cases. I tend to assume the latter. Texting really helps out the flaky ones tho and it can be a royal pain getting a convo going again once it stalls out. You never know if they are legitimately busy, if there was a glitch and a text didn't land (have had this happen with friends and family) or if they are flaking. So you wind up in the position of potentially bombarding someone with low interest with texts, which does you no favors.

It's weird tho. As recently as a couple of years ago I would have said call every time but times are changing with technology a lot recently. It's easy to forget that smartphones have only really been around a few years now. Big game changer for so many things.
