I think the true freemasonry can NOT be "joined" so to speak. If you are important and influential, money/power/etc..., ultimately you are useful, they will come to you. You can't be like "hey look, I'm pretty rich/powerful/successful, please let me in".

You have to become a VERY close friend of a member. And don't mention Masonry 1st, or he'll clam up quick.

neither of you are close... first of all, a mason can't ask you to become a member. They can talk about it all day long, about how great it is, but they can't ask you if you want to become one. You have to want to become one.

Also, there is nothing to clam up about. Masonary is not a colt, it's a group of people that share the same basic beilefs about life and socieity (non religious beliefs)

The easiest way to become a member is to... write and request an application. Then a committiee will do a background check on you, etc and then they will have a vote to see if you are worthy of membership, just like any other frat

Your average mason is just an average joe middle to upper middle class. They never get the inside on that Illuminati stuff. That is only for the super rich, White (yes there are nonwhite Masons, Prince Hall comes to mind), old bloodlines. my coworker is a mason. he rarely mentions it and doesnt go to meetings. i think when he became one he had to pay some dues and go to a few meetings. he learned a handshake and got a sticker for his truck.

being a mason can come in handy. when we had a horrible sewer problem on the property a few years ago, they sent out the city water company to repair the problem but it was going to cost tons. my co worker noticed a mason sticker on the city water guys truck so when he approached him to introduce himself he automaticly did the handshake. we didnt get billed for over a year and then it was a really reduced price. it really saved us tons of money.

Have you guys watched the movie "The Illuminati"? It talks about secret societies such as Skull and Bones, Free Mansons, The order of the Golden Dawn, and so forth. Btw, this has nothing to do with Tyler´s secret society!!

Are you sure he was in a rush or could it have been that he did that on purpose in order to undermine the roman gods. That makes far more sense to me because back then the religions were kind of in a competition to get the most followers and what better way to bring people to your religion than saying the others God of Light is the most evil being out there?
