"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I used to work with her but she was a in a different dept.

Its been 6 months since she quit and one day she came in the store. She saw me and we started talking. She even said "you look like you have been loosing weight"

Anyway, to make long short, I asked for her number. I didn't have a pen to write with so, she punched in my digits on her cell phone and told me that she would just call me. (btw, my cellphone voice mail was full at the time) Then she left and gave me a big hug.

An hour later, she calls me while I was at work. I didn't pick up cuz i knew it was her and I knew she couldn't leave a voice mail because my vmail at the time was full. (In my head, I was like... if this bvitch was really interested, she would text me it.) So I did get a text from her couple minuties later "Hi this is emily...this is my number xxx-xxx-xxxx

So, I call her about a week later left a shot vmail "this is VerySuave, call me back"

I didn't get a phone call back.. ever. And, I didn't make anymore attempts of calling her back after that.

SO, My question is: After you call a chick 1 time and she doesnt return your call, would you still call her again or next her?

Thanks

She's been waiting forty minutes.

you called too late.

don't listen to everything people here tell you.

it's not always a good thing to wait it out a week.

she clearly took the initiative with you and probably thinks you were afraid to call her back.

text her once, say your phone was ****ed up and you just got her text, and then tell her you're doing something later on, and you'd like her to join you.

learn your LESSON

leave it at that.

Question I ask is if the chick is playing games.

She did call, could not get through. Then she had to text. If you called someone, with a full mailbox, then had to text her, what would you think? There's a weird chick thing going on where they just don't want to seem "easy", whether or not they are, or regardless of their interest level. Then you waited a week to call her. If she was into you, she'd be anxious waiting that long, and would need to let go for her own sanity. I've had gal friends that say after about 4 or 5 days, they need to let it go for their own sanity. If she was not into you, it does not matter when you call back.

So.. don't worry about this, this stuff happens. If a gal's acting respectably, reward that. Call back in a few days. Don't be all that aloof unless she's playing games. She called, then texted. If you want, you called once, you may text her, just to see what happens, something ****y/funny might be better to get a response. Else, move on and learn.

This is my question VerySuave, why are u leaving messages on girls phones? It only leads to confusion and misunderstandings. Think about it. U call the girl, u leave the message and now u have to wait for her to call u. Now u dont know if she got ur message or if it was accidentally deleted or if she is not interested and just doesnt feel like calling u. U put urself in such a gray area. And now u have to wonder whether to call her back or not. Dont leave messages man. Next time u phone a chick it should be to talk directly to her, not an answering machine. If u dont get a hold of her then just call her back in a couple hours or the next day. Just dont leave any more messages.

verysuave: You'll learn as you progress through the game that all these "rules" you read about are merely guidelines. Every situation is different and therefore you should make decisions accordingly. In this particular case the girl called you, so calling her back after work or the next day wouldn't have made you look desperate, too interested or needy.

However waiting a week to call her back??? WTF were you expecting her to do??? She might have had a decent level of interest that day, but it vanished once you decided to try to act suave..lol (sorry couldn't resist) You can try calling her again if you want, because at this point if your already out in her book, calling one more time won't make or break you.

Remember when a girl calls you, call her back within a decent time frame. Meaning a few hours or the next day. Don't wait for so long unless your trying to tell her your not interested.

Here's a little guideline you can follow. If you get a girl's number, call her about 2-4 days later. Don't wait any longer unless one of those days falls on a Friday or Saturday.

If a girl calls YOU, call her back later in the day or by the next day at the lastest. But use your common sense here a bit. If she called you in the morning, call her back that evening. If she called you that night, call her back the next day.

Yeah, I waited a week cause i didnt want to look desperate. But, i guess.. never leave a vmail message next time this happens?

Also, when she texted me her number that same day, I texted her back saying "I got it"

Also, when I called her, it was on a tuesday after martin luther's king.. like around 5pm pacific time. But anyway, I deleted her number already..

anymore opinions? thanks

Girls don't think like guys. In your eyes, you took a risk to ask for the number, and you did.. congrats! In her eyes, guys are supposed to ask for the number, they're the men, no big deal. Or, a different way to frame this.. she does not initiate, so she simply has no idea that initiating involves risk and anxiety to us, she can't relate.

Now, you've started the exchange, set aside who initiated.. get on with keeping the flow going, respecting each other, but not playing games. You waited a week. You said through your actions you are not that into her. You've gone through a weekend. Your actions say maybe you'd rather take your chances at a club during the intervening weekend than call her and schedule in time with her, she's lower priority than that.
