iPod owners

I received the 40gb iPod for Christmas and i'm a little overwhelmed by all of the features it has.

I want to fully utilize the capabilities of the iPod so any information or experience you have would be appreciated!

...I want to buy the recorder so i can record lectures and such, so can any of you recommend a specific recorder?

yo I dunno. Go checkup on the reviews on amazon for those things. I saw them and they were all rated like 3-4. Anyways, also go to the apple site(apple.com) and register. Then go in their forums and ask questions. lost of helpful peopel there.
