Hi

I want to invest my money in stocks because just putting it on an account doesn't give you anything anymore. But honestly, I'm not interested in stuff like that to go start reading books to learn it.

If I would be able to get an ROI of about 5-8% I'd be happy. I read somewhere this would be achievable with fairly low risk. If so, what should I do or in what should I invest?

Thanks

Just buy an S&P Index Fund and hold for 20 - 30 years.

Beating the S&P in a small account is no big deal if you learn how to trade. It takes a lot of work, though. Check out the elitetrader.com forums.
