"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

welcome to my world
I think this is an original tip, because I haven't read anything before that says to do this. Like everyone knows, you should be socializing and expanding your friend network everyday. This tip helps with meeting new people and befriending them, etc, especially with groups, because you'll meet more people. The prerequisite is that you should be atleast a bit comfortable opening a set of 2 or more.

I've been doing this a lot lately. When you've exhausted all other thoughts, and don't want to open with a question, I suggest that you just "jump" into conversations with a joke or funny/light comment. Of course, make sure they do not look they are discussing something serious, or appear to be keeping a low profile conversation. Instead, do this when they are having a light, fun conversation. You should already be in the vicinity, either walking towards or sitting around when you do this...so you should already be slightly overhearing or be able to hear what they are saying.

For example, in a bookstore, foodcourt, library, clothing store, etc. Just ordinary places where you would find 2-3 people having light group conversations.

I do this a lot lately, and people usually laugh at what I say, and they don't know who I am at first...so, they're like, "wait...do I know you?" or "does so-and-so (another person in group) know you?"

And then they will usually proceed to ask who you are, and introduce themselves. It's really easy, because when you do this, usually the person will also introduce everyone in the group. I've met even more people doing this.

Yes, basically, I advocate that you interrupt people's conversations, and mock them in a light, fun, and friendly manner. It definitely matters how it is delivered, and I am usually sarcastic when I do this.

And this is just one example I remember from a few hours ago, but I've done it a lot more (yes, I am in the "field," and I've done this at least 10 times in the past few days, each time with similarly receptive results)... as I was about to walk by, girl1 said to girl2, "i'll beat your ass if you do that." And so, as I got close to them, I sat down and they were laughing a little, and I said, "yeah, I'll beat your ass too." And it was funny, because they don't know who the heck I am...and they just introduced themselves, and conversation just flowed.

Note: However, not everyone will be receptive, and that's just how it is with group approaches. I know on certain occasions, one person in the group may appear "standoffish." Don't let that faze you, just continue having fun with the others in the group, and the serious ones may lighten up eventually...and if not, who cares...it hasn't bothered me.

Just find the funny and interesting in everyday everything, including the conversations around you.

edit: For you guys who look at why it technically may work, well...you're not asking for something (opening with a question), where they could possibly say, "I don't know." You are jumping into something they are already showing interest in, which is their own conversation. And once they realize they don't know you, all eyes are literally on you, so you have instant attention. More so, you have shown "value" as a funny, sociable person ...hence someone they like to meet. Heck, it shows you have balls and don't give a sh!t either. But I hashed out that bit now, and you could go on about technical stuff...otherwise, I just know this is a fun thing to do anyway.

edit#2: I just remember one from a few days ago, because I told someone else about it. I was getting some bread, and some girl and a guy walk up pretty close to me, and they're talking about "directions," and the girls says to the guy, "yeah, I gave great driving directions," or something along those lines. And the guy didn't say anything, so I just said, "yeah, and so do all women (again, said sarcastically)......as in...they give crappy directions," and the girl just burst out laughing, and then the guy laughed too, and he starts busting on her. In that scenario, I was in sort of a p!ssy mood that day, so I just left, but still, I could have continued and met them very easily, as I have shown I am a funny, friendly guy.

eh, maybe not such a great example because I didn't make anything of that one, but I have done this a lot...I'll surely post more examples so you get a better idea.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
