This is not to suggest that I entirely condone this behavior. I don't. I've never snooped on a woman's computer or attempted to look at her cellphone. You could say that I draw the line at some point.
However, for those of you that still do online dating, you don't enjoy or appreciate getting deceived. Surely, you'd like to avoid any undeserving emotional investments, avoid meeting someone of the 'bait & switch' variety etc...
Below, I provide some tips that will reduce your chances of being deceived.
Let's say that her profile name is sugarplum393939.
You put quotations at the beginning of her name and at the end ie: "sugarplum393939" and do a google search.
A lot of times, you'll see other social media sites ; which contain contradictions to the person she's currently projecting.
I avoided a few white-trash gals by viewing their instragram profiles.
Let's say that her profile description contains something real unique.
such as --- I enjoy riding my unicycle while reading the Sunday paper.
You highlight the unique sentence and then copy it over to the google search engine (adding quotations before and after her sentence) ie; "I enjoy riding my unicycle while reading the Sunday paper." If she's written this before and some place else, you'll know where and also if her photos are different.
The image option on google does not seem to work as well these days, but you can try to 'drag' her photo into the google image search and sometimes (at least in the past) you'll find other sites where the same photo resides. Sometimes you'll discover that she' s using fake profile pics. Other times, you could learn something new.
I avoided meeting two married women by doing this.
Is her e-mail unique? Let's say that it's funkychickenru12@yahoo . Okay, forget about the yahoo part. Instead, type "funkychickenru12" into google and anything else with this unique name will appear.
I avoided a gal that was supposedly sugar and spice (she had posted all over multiple sex forums).
Always check competing on line dating sites for her profile as well. Half the time, you'll see an age contradiction, photos could be different (entirely different) and also contradictory profile descriptions.
Searching and finding shoulders and below photos isn't always easy. Even on facebook, they can choose which photos to share, However, there's one glitch to their ploy. Let's say her name is Anita Lobotomy. Rather than searching her profile by name. Instead type in... photos tagged of Anita Lobotomy. You'd be surprised how many embarrassing photos they didn't allow on their profile, but are out there for your discrepancy.
Curious about that gal from high school? Unsure if she's married or still married?
Peoplefinders dot com offers a free search tool. Let's say that you knew her as Allison Wonderland. You do a search under this site and it will show if her maiden name has changed. Is she now divorced? Only her facebook account probably knows for sure.
As another member has mentioned, do not use your default facebook account. If you do, there's a likelihood that your profile will eventually show up to her under the "people you may know" section. You want to avoid that. Instead, clear your web browsers cookies, history and caches files. Create a new account under a name such as Justin Sane. Use this account for any dark-side moments.
Of course, it's likely that some members will respond about how creepy this posting appears; claiming that they'd "never do such a thing." Fair enough. there are still men out there that claim that internet pornography is a sin and that they'd also "never do such a thing."
In other words... make these claims all you wish, but I won't believe you, nor will others.
