Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I got a really positive response from this one chick who wants to start chatting and getting to know more...as I mentioned in a previous post, I'm using David M's Internet Dating Insider guide to help me along (which so far as been pretty decent)...now he says for the 2nd email you should pull for the number, but I think that might be jumping the gun a bit. In your experiences, when do you go for the #? Am I being too big of a ***** with this? I just don't want to get stuck on the IM thing where I basically just become another chat buddy....she's also a few years older than I am, so she's probably not into IM much either.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

i think for the internet thang, it's all about the looks, rarely a girl will like you for your personality.

I seldom go for the telephone number on the second email. By the second or third interesting email I'm setting up a meeting. If there's rapport during the emails, getting the date is easy. If the date goes well, she will probably offer her number without you even asking.

Internet dating is too easy. For me, its like a video game I have already beaten. It goes the same way every time...email, IM, phone, date...girl looks decent but not LTR caliber, personality decent but not LTR caliber, make out with her in about 2-3 hours, sex after 4-6 hours. It is ****in rare that it doesn't work. Way easier than street or bar game. However, the caveat is that you better get a true diamond in the rough to have her be a true high caliber woman. If you want to pile up a body count of 6s and 7s, no place is better than the net. If you want a true 8+, you likely will need to look elsewhere.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I got a # after 2 hours of conversating on yahoo with a girl after exchanging like 2 brief messages with her on myspace... and I met her and got to hand holding within an hour of seeing her in person... we are also now in the process making plans for a 2nd meet.

So yeah, success is possible online relativley easily.. as long as you are who you appear to be online also in real life, its important to keep that up so she doesn't think you're a poser.

Online dating seems meant for the good looking or at least cute. (Now just so the average people out there feel lucked out, just because someone is cute/good looking doesn't generally make them better than you) How often do you pass up girls that are uglier than you? Probably all the time. That's how most girls will see you if you're just an average joe, only cute/handsome guys get the hos chasing them.

Most guys don't have 3 hours a day to IM, most guys work, so time is very important to them.

you don't need to use IM and in fact its a HUGE mistake.

I've tested this out with 46 different profiles in every major city in the U.S.

Why not take the shortest route from point a to point b?

If you feel the 2nd email is too quick, that's your own hesitations and unconfidence in yourself thats saying it and as a result it will somehow come accross in what you send to the women in your second email.

Get the number as fast as possible, remember she's STILL being bombarded with 20-100 emails a day, every day from other guys.

I know it works because I've used it to collect about 2,000 phone numbers in the last 4 years and have dated close to 400 women in that time.

I've dated 8-10's through the net (including a playboy playmate), so guys that think there's only 6-7's are assuming. Believe me, I've tested just about every variable possible.

The internet is a gold mine for meeting women...

All the best,

Dave M.
