internet browsing issues

I am having trouble with my internet browser and not sure of what settings I am suppose to be changing. I have to click on the refresh button a lot as the lastest messages or posts are not usually show. Also since I first "shift+refreshed" all my font sizes have increased?

Anyone experienced this before?

why?

cos i am so use to it and my internet explorer is stuffed and does the same thing. It all started when i pressed shift n refresh at the same time.
