"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Talked to my good friend today. I changed her IM name to "x" here.

Pikachupacabra says:
how "traditional" (regarding gender roles) are you guys as a couple
x says:
were both equal
Pikachupacabra says:
so nontraditional?
x says:
what do u mean?
Pikachupacabra says:
traditional = guy is leader, has the final say, girl is the follower, is submissive, etc
x says:
he acts like hes my husband
x says:
im not submissive with him
x says:
but he babys me a lot
Pikachupacabra says:
lol
x says:
and is paying for all my stuff and gives me spending money
x says:
while im looking for a job
Pikachupacabra says:
[my gf] and I are real traditional
Pikachupacabra says:
both conservative, she is very submissive and likes me being the dominant male leader and making the decisions
x says:
sometimes i wish it was like that for pancho n me but he wont do anything w/o my approval
Pikachupacabra says:
hmm
x says:
or ask what he should do
Pikachupacabra says:
even if you straight out tell him "it's up to you"?
x says:
yup
x says:
he wants me to be happy

She's not even the real conservative type either, yet she is kind of unhappy with her "equal" roles and wishes for her boyfriend to be moreso the dominant, masculine leader of the relationship. It really just seems so simple to me lately, and not near as complex as the DJ boards might make it out to be, because like Puerto and others have been saying, the God-ordained roles of men and women should be the most natural thing on earth. Although for someone who is used to the liberal, hedonistic, narcissistic teachings of society today, they can be overwhelming at first. Heck, I even see it here. Guys want a woman who will be the approacher, the mental stimulator, the aggressor, who will work and not be a housewife/caretaker, or all of the above. Guys want a girl who is as logical as they are, who doesnt show much emotion. Guys want a girl who is almost exactly like them. A man with boobs. "Equality" is getting in the way of happiness, if you ask me.

Just some food for thought.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Well, like this board says over and over again...you can't listen to what a woman says, only to her actions. Because women don't know what they want. Remember?

I agree with the dominant/submissive thing but you guys are a little bit off. You're taking it too literally and superficially. Dominant isn't "macho". It's not "making all the decisions". It's the essence of who you are. Somebody who's not dominant but tries to 'act' that way will come across as a jackass. That's why this whole 'alpha male' this is so off-base. They try to be 'dominant' but they wind up acting (and trust me, it is obvious to those who observe) macho, instead of figuring out what it *really* means to be dominant. All men are dominant by our very nature...we just need to embrace that and be ourselves.
