I don't think he ever one Mr. O. I actually read one of his books years ago. Overall I think his ideas are interesting but I've never agreed with the "one set" rule. I think he made some interesting points and challenged the status quot. But he was off on a few things I believe as far as training goes. I don't believe in spending all day in the gym, but trying to make gains on just one set (even a superset) never has worked for me.

thanks, i agree. its a great one. a lot of good information in the video. what i took away most from Mike Mentzers methods was really just making my workouts more efficient overall and the concept of intensity and true failure. the concept of intensity is something that most regular people will never even comprehend, watching this video can give people a good idea as to what it is and what true failure should look like when it comes to lifts.
