"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Lately I've been feeling that if I don't schedule a date in advance, or make it known when we'll be going out (for example setting up on thursday for sat or sun) that they'll fill their schedule and/or forget about me -- especially if I don't text them at all during this time

I've been feeling like/tempted to check in with something funny during the in-between days, to keep them reminded of me.... especially the ones I've barely met/talked to so far, but want to go out.

How plausible is this fear? Would checking in be a bad move? How far and in between should you be contacting a girl in the initial meeting period... most likely with low interest?

I figure it's not a big deal and just my AFC bad habits of being a frequent texter/actually wanting to bond with women manifesting

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Make it an interest test, if you have a date and she doesn't show up just forget her. If she forgot she's not interested enough, don't waste your time. No need to fill the days in between with pointless talk, no matter what you say on text it won't score any points before solid rapport is established.

You do respect yourself more than chasing a chick that forgets you and doesn't care right?
