"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I know this is harder to do in person after your being provoked and that’s definitely something you should be working on. But after the situation or scuffle is over, you can go back to your room and try to see that person’s point of view.

And unless it is totally evil, try to see it from that person’s point of view as to why that person view a situation a certain way or as to why that person is acting this way. It’s called empathy….and you know what, do it with serial killers too…it’s called compassion. Do it with people from all walks of life- women, feminists..lol, children and old people….. this is what seperates a human being from an animal, the fact that he’s doing these things.

Practice empathy wherever you go, this is a first step towards emotional intelligence.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

This is a nice post. I agree. It’s so hard to do after you have been treated poorly by someone but realizing there are two sides to every story is important

I like this, but it can lead to a problem.

The problem is where to set the boundary.

No one cares how you feel, they only care about what you say and do.

Often times I see that the man who is difficult and aggressive(assertive and aggressive) will get better treatment than the one that demonstrates being kind. Its one of the difficult truths.
