Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Crossedup,

Good to hear you're seeing success! I'm surprised you waited so long to put up some good Alpha pictures, especially if you're a gym rat. I bet you've read profiles that say something like "If you're not wearing a shirt, don't bother..." However, I have found that no matter what these dumb broads say, a shirtless, ripped guy gets their attention.

OkC has some great research published on just this subject and I find it an excellent resource for related information. Here's an article about what types of pictures get the most responses and meetings in dating profiles.

"The 4 Big Myths of Profile Pictures
MYTH 3
Guys should keep their shirts on

The male “Ab Shot” has the same reputation as the MySpace Shot—it’s an Internet cliché that supposedly everyone thinks is only for bozos. To wit: a journalist was visiting our office recently, and when we told her we were researching user photos, the first thing she said was “please tell me people hate it when guys show off their abs.” We hadn’t finished running the numbers yet, so we confidently reassured her that people did. The data contradicted us.

Of course, there is some self-selection here: the guys showing off their abs are the ones with abs worth showing, and naturally the best bodies get lots of messages. So we can’t recommend this photo tactic to every man. But, contrary to everything you read about profile pictures, if you’re a guy with a nice body, it’s actually better to take off your shirt than to leave it on. We would never suggest to a Fitzgerald or a Dave Eggers to limit his profile to 100 words, and so why should guys with great bodies keep their best asset under wraps?

Also, regarding messages, I find that I will tailor my approach a bit to each girl. I usually ask for their number within the first two or three messages, and then text or call for a date that weekend. I find if I'm too aggressive, meek or young women will get turned off. Mentally dominant or older women are often the opposite and will send nude pics with no problem, and of course, put out with little effort.

Godspeed, man!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Thanks for the advice Sik. I am beginning to mix up the messages now and am adding in my own personality (Still with the shirtless pics, they are money:up: )

This is really helping my texting game for the most part. I am getting closer and closer to actually getting some of these girls out, feels good to be improving.

I just need another 100 girls to sign up real fast lol. Think I will shift sites.
