Back when I first joined this group I posted in the fitness section that as part of my exercise routine I do inclined pushups- a total of 45 done in 3 sets (15 per set). I always knew I could do more than that. At the time I made that post I had been going to the gym regularly but the past few weeks I have been busy with work and have reduced my time ( not good, though). To make up for it I have been riding my bike and doing the pushups. Anyhow, I decided to increase the number of sets I'm doing. I'm up to 105 inclined pushups now. I take a 60 sec pause between sets. It feels good to be able to do this many. I don't do them everyday, I have a routine of every other day and I'm glad to know that I'm making progress. And I'll increase the number of sets again in a few weeks.

And despite the fact that I have not been able to get to the gym as much as I'd like these days, a few weeks ago a woman I know complimented me on the way I look. We hadn't seen each other for a while so when she saw me she was very impressed. She told me a couple of times over the course of the next couple of hours that she liked the way I looked. She and I are just friends, though, so there is nothing going on between us. All the same, I wonder how many of her girlfriends she told this to (but those women are kind of dumb anyway). I feel better for exercising, I have more energy and I like it. It's something I'm doing for myself but it is good to know that others can see the difference.

Incline pushups are easy, I think those working shoulders. I can do your present number in one set, as my workout I do 32 incline pushups. That number is increased until I feel muscle getting workout. Then I super set it with decline pushups, those are harder. They workout your back.

Dry decline pushups, you will really get a workout.

Your post is an upper.

There is no better feeling to know what your doing for your fitness that others and especially the babes notice even though the mind frame should be only for ourselves but the babes noticing is the bonus for all the hard work.

Way to go.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've increased my weights again (on machines and free weights) and picked up new exercises, too. And I do inclined ab crunches at the gym now. I had been doing them at home but I reduced it down to 15 just to say that I'm doing them. But at the gym I was doing about 50 for a while. But one day I said "Let's see if I can do more." so I did. I'm doing 105 ab crunches now. I do as many as I can at first (about 25) then rest a moment then do more. Sometimes it's ten at a time. But other times it's a little more than that. Today I eventually had it up to 15 at a time. I keep going up to 105 before I call it a day on the ab crunches. I set the bench on maximum incline to get the best results. And I feel it, too, in my lower abdominals. But What can I do to get the work out on my upper abs? Any suggestions from you guys?

Try V-ups. Lie on your back with your arms straight on the floor behind your head and do a crunch while bringing your legs up, so your body forms a "V". It's a lot harder than it sounds, and I always feel those in my upper abs.

Thanks. I'll try it.
