Bili was born in a zoo in England in 2008 but moved to Frankfurt Zoo when he was rejected by his mother at just three-months-old. There, he was adopted by a group of females who had experience with dealing with unwanted youngsters. He was then moved to Wuppertal Zoo in November 2018 to become a breeding male after the females in Frankfurt refused to mate with him. But twin males Azibo and Ayubu have taken a disliking to Bili and attack him, and the rest of the group join in when Bili tries to defend himself. Wuppertal zoo’s Deputy Director Severin Dressget said: ‘This was done with the aim of integrating him into the existing group and thus to contribute to the preservation of the highly endangered bonobos by breeding.’

Those with heavy depression are typically not busy being successful. If they were, they wouldn’t be depressed.

And if they're not successful, they're not contributing to society. It's like the MGTOWers who live in the basement playing video games because they don't want to contribute to a feminist society. But by not trying to be successful, they're just further turning the world over to women, they're betraying their gender.

On the other hand, depression is often a medical (physical) condition. And I'm sure that chimp didn't do anything to get rejected by his own mother! Sounds like he must have been a runt or something. And by this time, I imagine he's one emotionally scarred mess. Just because someone fails, it doesn't always mean it's his fault.
