"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

This may be a bit of an open-ended question and also one based on opinion but, how do you get a girl who's in your class?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

smorgan, there is a nice wrote up about this on the site. Check it out.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Well Bimmers, I'm sure there is and if you could even direct me to it, I would appreciate it much. I originally asked this question because right now I'm faced with that situation. There's a hot ass girl who sits in front of me and I started talking to her. We got to talking about partying and **** and she gave me her number; told me to call her. I plan on doing it but am not sure what to do, considering that I've never picked up a girl in class. I would like some advice from someone who's been in this situation before and knows how to best handle it.

i like to shift the environment away from the classroom. once you find the girl your interested in, flirt with her (number closing is optional). your priority should be to lead her on by letting her know you will talk to her after class (usually right after). then you can get into the PU mode once your on your feet. the point is to make rapport in the class, so once your outside of class, you can easily number close without sounding forceful/awkward/weird.

smorgan, if you think she is the wild type, then its natural to invite her to a party first, or try to go to one as a couple (social proof). or you could casually call her sometime, meet for coffee or lunch, and trail the conversation towards partying.

do you view this girl as a girl you want to have fun with, or actually someone worth "attempting" to start a relationship? if the first one, then its not that bad to do pickups in class, but if the second one, you will most def. have some awkward moments in the future with her.

Pleasure King you're right on. Def. the wild type and def. just someone I'd like to have fun with. I don't feel like partying with her first though. I'd really like to just spend some one-on-time and maybe go to a movie or something, then party with her. Is it worth it to try that first or should I just wait to have a party and invite her over then?

You want one-on-one time kid --- as we say in school parlance - "that's a no-brainer!". You obviously don't know what to do next ---- just ask her to go fishing!

Do a fun activity together - can this be stressed enough on this website for a first date!!!!!!!

The benefit of having 1on1 time with her before going to a party is having more rapport (that means you two can have a better time bonding at the party since you have gotten to know eachother even more). movies sound like a good idea since she is the wild type. what i mean by this is, what you two do after the movies (wink).

if you decide to try movies, pick a showtime that starts around 8pm to 9pm so the movie could end sometime around 10pm to 11pm. after the movies tell her your a little hungry, so suggest that she decides to have some food. ask her to come over to your place and you can cook up some food. (be prepared prior). if everything falls into place, you can attempt to have sex with her. go for a kiss, and see if you can make it escalate.

if you dont have a place of your own, or you just dont want her over, take her out some place to eat after the movies. then try to get a little intimate in your car with her. (first the kiss of course)

remember, this is optional. you can easily take her to a party, have her intoxicated, and then she will have a totally new frame of mind (more horny, less resistance). (not the MAN-ly way to do it though, but whatever floats your boat. everyone has different preferences)

if you can make a party happen by this weekend (or next), forget the movies then. if you cant, go for the movies. then once everything gets settled, you can try a party later.

remember, a real DJ can make a party happen with just the girl only. ;]

I don't understand the replies. In high school, all our girlfriends were girls from our class. We just found it sort of disloyal to get a girl from another class. What's wrong with it? We are taking the same courses. We were scientists class. There were another classes (same grade) for litterates and economists.

So if scientist guy go out with economist girl (it did happen though) there was a lot of talking about them.

The other solution was to get your GF out of the school or in different grade.
