These are the women I consistently have the most success with. They usually check all 3 boxes:
Tourists
Traveling alone (or just happen to be themselves when I approach)
Slightly older
It has been much, much harder for me to pull girls that live here (Chicago city area) and are younger. If I get a number, they usually flake/ghost or renege. If those girls are in a group, it gets even harder. Their friends typically ****block and try to speak for her or the girl I came up to rejects to not seem like a $lut, I'm assuming. Occasionally, their friends don't mind and the other girls stand aside and let me work.
I don't want to only score with tourists. There are hot options but there are plenty more attractive girls walking around that live here. Also, the volume of tourists fluctuates. One week, there are a ton and the next, not so much.
Lately, I've been going more direct than usual and take over the interaction with a lot of boldness, and I get more positive reactions than I have with any other approach (in this city). They smile, laugh, I've been told that they love the confidence, they stick in the interaction for a bit longer, etc.
But most of the time, I get the 'Thank you, but I'm seeing someone' 'Thanks, that's sweet but I do have a boyfriend', and 'I don't think my boyfriend would like that.' 'I'm married'(what's odd is they're usually only in their early/mid 20s and already married)
Statistically, it's impossible for 90% of these girls to be taken, so I'm not buying it
The tourists are pretty receptive but should I aim to build more rapport and comfort with the girls that live here? I have described the Chicago population as more reserved and cliquey, so they seem less carefree..
I've not even been getting numbers lately. It's weird. I try something new. One week, it works great and I'm raking more in. The next, it's like my method got patched and no longer works lol.
Starting off indirect, then going direct and building conversation worked pretty good for rapport and getting numbers, but often got told I was sweet and it led nowhere. Rapport building.
Going very direct, bold and brash gets more positive reactions and less blowouts as it gets to the point and is more polarizing, but could be going for the close too quickly, since it triggers the I have a BF response. Emphasis on tonality, less cookie cutter
I made a post on this before and guess I need try practicing mixing both methods together, instead of one or the other.
If you have feedback, please, only from those that cold approach. I don't want a flunk that sticks to dating apps and what not. Cold approach often feels wildly inefficient, but it scratches an itch for me, and dating apps are just a waste of time
Thanks
