In Dublin's fair city....

So here I am in Dublin with two more weeks to go. Suffering from a long trip and jet lag, I made no attempts at DJ'ing on either Saturday or Sunday. Here's my situation:

-I'm American, almost 17, 5'7 with blond hair and blue eyes
- I'm vacationing in Foxrock, about half an hour (By Bus) from the Dublin City center.
- There's a decent-sized pub, a library, and a few shops within walking distance, but not much else.

What say you, fellow DJs?

You look old enough to get served? What about friends? Are they locals or what?

Head into town & head for a coupla pints somewhere, maybe hang around Templebar.

You could tell people you're Canadian, that works well sometimes[1]

If you really really wanna score, head to Copper Face Jacks (on Harcourt St.), that used to be a great place for pulling, though I dunno what it's like in the last 2/3 years. There's tonnes of other clubs in town too.

I do look old enough to get served, and have been already.

I know absolutely no one in the whole country.

I checked out the local pub; it was full of the middle-aged. They assured me I'd have to head into town for a decent time.

A new wrinkle: my parents are going to drag me off to the west, to Kilkenny and the cliffs of Mohar. Not that I don#t appreciate such things, but is there any chance of DJ'ing in such places?

The west of Ireland is a wilderness; your chances of finding ample babe options there are accordingly statistically minimal; Dublin was your best bet. However, you never know - some of the nice wee seaside places might have a few nice bored girlies hanging around. You should have headed for Newcastle in N. Ireland's east coast - always lots of lookers walking about on a warm day, although the place tends to be packed.

I should return to Dublin for a few days after the trek to the west. My parents don't seem to understand that a country is the people in it and not the physical land.

I wonder what to do witha girl once I've sufficiently charmed her...

There's a couple of clubs in KK, try the one which is part of a hotel on a little street going up a hill in the town, I scored there a coupla months back. No, I don't know the name

Do C&F bigtime, specially in the club queue (get behind some hotties and take it from there). Do not wear a white checked shirt. If you own any, burn them. They mark you as a loser in those girls eyes (had a good convo about this with them)

btw Galway is not a bad place to pull - when clubbing try "Karma" (not Cuba, it's less of a pick up joint). CP's could be good (yes, it's "Central Park", and it's been called that for 20 years now).

Also the Castlecourt in Westport if you get up to Mayo.

Don't know anywhere in Clare, so you're out of luck there. Be careful if you're out in Limerick - don't go for food after the club closes, go straight home (chippers are where people get in lots of fights there).

If you're in Kerry demand to stay in Killarney - great tourist place, check it out. McSorleys is a good club and pub (I scored there 2 weeks ago).

Not yet, but if I did meet a girl in a pub, where else would I take her? There's no privacy at the B&b's or my house.
