"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I don't get it. I see it every so often, but I wouldn't have even done this when I was an AFC! Why do many guys, when they talk about how great/hot/awesome their gf or wife is, feel the need to degrade themselves, as if it drives the point home any harder? Hey stupid, by degrading yourself, you are degrading your partner too, implying that she settled for terrible old you cuz she couldn't do any better for herself, and you are insulting her taste in a partner.

My opinion is a lot of compliments ain't a bad thing, if you do NOT degrade yourself while giving them. Compliments are SO MUCH MORE well recieved coming from a position of confidence, even ****iness, of being sure of yourself and liking yourself, rather than mixed with talking about your flaws and how crappy you think YOU are. The former makes her feel special; the latter makes her feel pedestalized!!

Seriously, am I the only one who notices this?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
A lot of guys claim VERBALLY to be inferior in front of their wives to prop them up, while at the same time ACTING in a very superior manner, so it all balances out.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of guys who miss the ACTING part of it and end up putting themselves down verbally AND through their actions in front of their women. Just guys who don't get it.

They're just needy AFCs who:
1. Put themselves down in hopes to get reassurance telling them that they are better that they really are.
2. Making themselves lesser people in hopes that their GF will take pity on them and take care of them.
3. Setting themselves up so that when they are dumped (and they will be when the woman gets bored of them) that they will have an excuse that they weren't compatible, for whatever reason. And guess what, they would be right!

I know what you mean.

It goes something like this:

The guy says "Man, what did I do to get such a hot chick for marriage" etc etc.

I think its better if the guy goes "Man, she must've worked awfully hard to get a guy like me tied down!"

A line that i used a lot is in front of my/her friend's "Don't I have a very pretty woman? Honestly.... Well, I know how to choose women :D "

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
