"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

In a situation

This is a very tricky situation (at least i think)

My parents kept in close contact with all of their close friends from high school and every year, they all get together during the summer to hang out. And i get to go every year. and so does my moms friends daughter. Now, shes not the hottest girl in the entire world, but she has some nice features. I'll give her an 8.7 Anyway i didnt start talking to her until this summer because i never got the balls to because i thought she was way out of my league. But there is a problem....Shes in Eighth grade and im a freshman. That may not seem to weird for some people, but to alot it does. then there is another one. I only get o see her for less than 2 weeks in the summer. Thats it. I guess all i want to know is, how can i get her to be attracted to me just enough so that i get be a good friend of hers and not just the family friend whos kind of cool.

Also there is the other problem that doesnt have much to do with love. My little sister got it out of me that i like her and im not 100% sure if she can keep it secret. I've put the fear of God into her, but im not sure i can trust her. She might tell The girls sister who'll tell her\, which would turn into a big mess that i cant deal ith right now.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Best thing to do would probably just get another girl, but I understand your problem. I am kinda with the same problem. I like this one girl in the states, and she knows who I am and I asked her out last summer, giot the LJBF line. That sucked. I only get to see her for about a week or two when I am in the states anyways. I used to go to school with her. It doesn't make a differene if you are a freshman and she is a 8 grader. The girl above is a freshman, and I am a junior.

Good Luck.

your 15, your not in love. as someone will eventually post so i'll just say it first. i don't know how mature you are but i doubt you really are in love witht his girl. shes probably the first girl you've had feelings like this for so you really want things to work out. also from the way your typing, you sound really afc and your probably not even realizing it. You don't do things for the girl so she'll like you, you do it for yourself and she likes you for yourself.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Nivek has got a point, mostly. You still have things you need to learn in life. I in no way claim to know it all, but can tell you that in my 17 years here on earth, there is a difference in me from when I was 15. The girl I talked about I thought I was in love with as well. It is not impossible to be in love so early, but most do not understand what true love is at an early age. I am not going to go into much what true love is, cuz it is different for every person, and there are many classic poems about it. I know this is probably hard to read, but these things must be said. You will hear(or read rather) later on probably that you have oneitis. This is not 100 percent bad, but is not always a good thing either. How much time and effort are you willing to put into this girl, should something happen? Seeing as you don't seem to hang with her much very often, are you a trusting person enough for this relationship? Are you willing to block out all possible local girls, just for her? If so, and you are willing to do almost anything for her, then you are either a major AFC, a fool, or really in love and/or dedicated. Sorry this is long.

AFC= "average frustrated chump"= something to avoid at all costs. Now, if you were in your twenty's you would probably have more wisdom. You would have your own job, to pay for your own stuff, and things would be different. Don't act like you are older. enjoy your young age.
