My boy and wingman, "THE INSECT," made a very profound and true statement as we went about our daily walk. He said, that "you have to improve your environment." As I thought about that statement, I concurred and was like "Yeah, you're right and I'm going to talk about tomorrow on the message board."
This statement is not only applicable to scoring women, but in all facets of life. If you hang around low budget, "ratchet," areas that are populated by uninspired, "life-has-me-beaten," individuals, than eventually those attitudes and mannerisms are going to influence your thinking and how you carry yourself. The problem is that a lot of you aren't taking this sh*t seriously. Yes, you want to become the "Second Coming of Mystery." Yes, you want a "Consensual Sex in the Missionary Position For the Sole Purpose of Reproduction Van like Jeffy from RSD has, and you want to have the 2014 equivalent to a harem, but at the end of the day, you're only trying to learn this sh*t so you get your oneitis to see the "alpha," in you. Playa, that sh*t is hella weak.
In order to become the man you want to be, you're going to have to change certain aspects of your life, and one of those aspects my be the places your frequent, (this is especially important to the brothas that may be reading this.)
If you're looking classy chicks with some sort of urbanity about them, then you're going to have to seek out flyer establishments in the more affluent part of your city. This philosophy also applies to you're looking for potential business contacts. You're going to have to go to their bars, gyms, clubs, and lounges. "But Rex those places are expensive,". They maybe, however, who says you have to buy out the bar. Just buy a beer and "baby sit," that sh*t mutaf*cka.
Also, when you're in school, use though internships, clubs, parties, fraternities as ways of not only improving your social circle, but also as a means to improving your environment. A lot of older cats, are looking to pass on their knowledge to mentees and you owe to yourself to be the beneficiary of somebody who's willing to pass on their knowledge to you, whether that knowledge be knowledge of women, how to dress, your future vocation, what have you.
If you didn't know, ya boy Rex , "is a brother of the leaf." Not that "leaf," dumba$$, but a cigar connoissuer. Often times I'll find myself being the only guy of color in these establishments, and that's not a problem for ya boy because at the end of the day, Rex is a versatile nigga, and with the exception of a Klan rally or G.L.A.A.D. convention, he's comfortable under most situations, and that's what you guys have to do, in order to get what you want of life, be it beautiful women, money, an education, etc. You're going to have to expand your comfort zones. You're going to have to approach that hot chick, you're going to have to improve your interview skills so you can bullsh*t your way through that psychological nonsense to score internship or job, you're going to have learn the intricacies involved in buying a suit so that it fits properly, you're going to have learn how to present things to people in such way, where the exchange is one of reciprocity, not one of a heirarchical nature, where the person giving you something feels as if they have some sort of superiority over you.
You have to master your environment, the same as a surgeon is the master of the surgical theater or the boxer is master of the ring. Once you done that, you'll be well on your way to having a better quality of life. Happy New Year, y'all.
