I live in a somewhat decent sized town, however everyone my age here knows everyone else it seems like. Lately I have been spinning plates but with each one I keep hearing through the grapevine about her past sexual encounters. Anyways the point is I'm terrified of getting an std. What is the likelihood of me catching one assuming that I only mess with girls that look alright down there and always wear a condom?

I have been the same myself, but remember, if you use a johnny the risk is almost nothing.

I have had sex with some 30-40 escorts and never contracted anything from them - just goes to show, if you use a condom, you generally don't catch anything. These girls are fvcking many different guys for a living, but are the most careful when it comes to condoms. If you could catch anything with a condom, these girls would be full of disease. As it happens, I have had STDs, but every one came from unprotected with a normal girl, not an escort.

HIV - No risk
Syphalis - No risk
Hepititus - Risk for one type even through kissing (can't really protect against that), the other types need blood contact I think - no risk for those
Chlamidya - No risk
Herpes - minor risk, but if she looks OK then good to go
Warts - minor risk

I had warts and chlamidya. Warts came from rubbing genitals, not sex. Chlamydia came from sex.

I wouldn't worry too much mate, they aren't that bad, unless you get unlucky. Chlamidya is like a cold for your d1ck, warts, well is just like normal warts on your fingers etc. OK, they can cause problems but like 30% of people carry the virus. If you use a condom it is highly unlikely you will get them.

I am past the age of caring, except for nasty stuff like HIV etc. generally the nasty stuff needs some really hardcore unprotected sex or anal sex to transmit, so unless you are fvcking drug addicted street hookers unprotected up the ass, you should be OK.

If it was that easy to catch an STD with a condom, people wouldn't fvck and would go back to getting married. Chill out man.

Herpes is the one I don't want to catch though, apparently that is a nightmare.

thats just a bold faced lie. the STD alarm has been ringing louder than ever and people are having more sex than ever. furthermore we are biologically driven to have sex and STDs be damned. the rate of STDs will likely never affect sex rates.

while somethings can protect against STDs nothing is foolproof. the more you do it with more random people the greater the odds are of something popping up. will you get an STD? who knows. but more partners = greater chance of it happening thats really all that can be said and contrary to popular belief condoms are not foolproof.

furthermore they are probably far more common than this site will ever tell you. this site promotes bang every person you can and rarely speaks of any consequences of that lifestyle. you might want to google around a bit if STDs are a concern.

and being at 30 and not caring if you get one? wow. i'd hate to catch a serious at such a young age.

Wrap it up and you should be fine.. Don't and your playing with fire.

You can be majorly unlucky just like you can crossing a road or being in the wrong place at the wrong time, if your safe the chances of catching anything are small!

As the guys told you, as long as you use a condom you're protected for most of the stuff especially the heavy one as HIV but keep in mind that even if you have sex with a sick person you dont get sick automatic, there are percentages of risks which are not as high as media say.

I had unprotected sex with any girls, and didnt catch anything and Im talking about girls picked up at the club so not exactly what you would call "ladies".
