I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Wondering if people have a good reply for this one? It kinda stumped me as she said it while turning away after the number request. I'm pretty sure she was genuine, and not just tryna get rid of me, she'd been giving buy signals a fair bit.

Well, that's what I did... guess there's no magic phrase to help sort this one :) I thought there might be since she's seemed to have decent IL, but was being rational... I don't want rational, I want horny :)

"God damn daylight savings!"

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
