"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I really don't know what's wrong with me but for some reason someone talks to me or even looks at me I start to feel really threatened. Im 18 years old and in college and even though I should have alot of friends and maybe a girlfriend right now...I don't. My self esteem is really low and this is because my dad is always calling me and my younger siblings worthless. He's a really bad father and he's an alcoholic. My mom is always asking me why I don't have many friends or a girlfriend yet.

All I really want is some advice on what I can do or change about myself. But I have to promise myself to do it also.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

i reckon the affect of somebody drumming sh1t like that into you all the time can be devastating

but just look at his life and see how worthless he is for making u feel so ****. just endevour to be a better father than him.

i was sort of like you, but the best thing u can do is talk to people from work/school, introduce yourself and so forth

its much easier like that to start off than to approach random strangers on teh street i fink. this is waht i started to do, socialize more, and im getting the hang of things now. i was in your position not too long back

dont be afraid to butt in into group conversations (not butt in, but dont be silent around a bunch of co-workers/school people), especially when u have something to say. dont let other people take over, you just have to try it a few times and express your opinion and youll get over the fear

this is what i reckon from my expreince

^^^^I kinda know what you mean.

But if I do get the courage to talk to a group of people in one of my classes I just don't want them to think "Where the hell is this guy coming from?". I just need friends that respect my decisions and why I am there.
