You are from America. Dude, Finland has some of the most lax gun laws on earth. In most of Europe it is EASY to get a gun if you don't have a criminal past and say that you will use it to hunt. In Switzerland most homes have heavy duty guns. Every Swiss male is supposed to be ready to defend their country (probably against America since America likes to blow up places). I could go on and on.
What Americans do not understand is that in most of the world NOBODY looks at the law. You just do what you want. I would use Italy as a perfect example. I won't even get into places like Ukraine, Russia, or the Baltic States. You boys do realize that Ukraine has a drinking age of 18! Yet, EVERY day I see boys who couldn't be older than 14 drinking cheap Obolon beer at food courts after school. Yet, if I try to take a picture with my iPhone in the mall I get some pathetic security guard running up to me threatening to kick my azz.
I swear this board is the funniest thing I read.
Are for real? would you please tell me how many european countries allow citizens to legally own automatic guns? seriously Im curious.
For what I recall not even in all the american states is allowed.
The fact that the law allows you to own gun for shoting ranges purpose doesnt mean that you can use them for self-defence purpose...it needs special authorizations that are hard to get in most Europe.
If you wanna talk about law learn some.
And yeah I know the fact that eastern Europe is flooded with guns yet it doesnt make it legal to own it if not authorized.
About that drinking age stuff, there is no connection with guns, it doesnt need Europe to have places where people dont give a fk about the law.
I've been able to buy cheap beer too in my country, with men coming door to door in the train with a bag full of cans while I was coming back from school, still fail to see how can be connected with guns or sites that make you build personalized ones.
