"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Alright this post might be long...

Anyway, in class I'm the kind of guy who says all the jokes, I mean, like everyone is looking at me just waiting for me to be the goof as usual and make all the class laugh and stuff...Well, I don't have a problem with this, I'm not trying to be funny, it is just how I am, it comes naturally.

But outside the class, I don't know man, it is just totally different with everyone. For example, like I see my two buddys on lunch with those 4 girls but I just don't feel like going to join them, I don't know....I'm not scared or anything...I just don't feel like going..So I just join my other buddys in their all boys table (they aren't the coolest ppl, but anyway, I can act normally with them, not scared of what I will say and ****...).

Well, in my school, what really sucks, is that there is not a lot of hot chicks...maybe 10 (I'm not joking)...and they are all taken...So I just feel bored and stuff..I don't even feel like practicing my "game" on the other girls...It is just not worth it. None of them are nice, they are all superficial and boring..It is quite depressing...So I barely talk to any of them...Because just the thought of how boring and superficial they are turns me off. But I do talk sometimes to the hotties...I just have no interest at all in any of the single girls...

And then I see my buddys (we have diff tastes)...trying to get them girls...I just think it is pathetic the little games they play together...(like : "oh I'm holding the door you cannot enter...hihihi...****ing childish bull****) And this just pisses me off more...

Other than that, I have a lot of guy friends and they are cool, I hang with the popular ones too when I feel I have the energy to make them laugh and ****...

**** my school sucks...Girls in there are ugly...I'm lost, I don't
know what to do.

Please help me.

Get in contact with teenagers outside of your school. Some of your popular guy friends have got to know some cute girls to hang out with that don't go to your school. Just go to all the parties during the weekend and you're bound to meet a hottie.

1. Have you got to know the girls that are "hot"? Do you know for a fact they are superficial or assume this because they seem unattainable? The popular, hot girls are always taken, and will be for the majority of your life. You have to strut your stuff so they chase you. You can get a whole class laughing and Im sure that includes teh chicks, so when you are just chillin with 1-2 of them you can focus your efforts even more so if you desire
2. You calll them superficial, yet you come off superficial when looks is your only criteria
3. After you tell the first joke, the tension dissipates, trust me im a joke teller too. Think of how Chandler Bing interacts with ppl to break the ice. Act normal around girls, you'd be suprised what you get away with. Wh yare you afraid of girls?
4. Your boys arent pathetic. They are flirting and it is quite fun, but you prolly dont get a chance to do it a lot so talk down on it, give it a try. You are a comic against having meaningless fun? oxymoron?
5. Do yourself a favor and sit with the girls next time ur buddies are kickin it with em. They wont bite man, you got humour which usually equals personality..which girls dig.

^ great post buddy.

Well I have one more question...How do you think the girls are perceiving me when they see me cracking jokes every now and then in class? Do they think I'm just a goof or are they attracted by my humour...

Like I know when they talk about me to their other girl friends, they tell them I'm a really funny person and stuff etc. That's cool, but then when I talk to their friend they are expecting to laugh and ****, otherwise they are just like..."nah, the guy ain't funny, just dumb."

Ah, I'm worrying too much about it I guess...Might get back to my "I don't give a ****" attitude...But then, I might seem arrogant and stuff.

I'm lost.

dont care what the others think, only what they feel

When you tell jokes do it because you want to or think its funny, NOT to to impress people. If you trying to make people laugh, then it fails, but when you just conversing and something funny pops into your head, let it rip. If you always trying to impress people, you become the class clown, or court jester and people like laughing at your jokes but not being with you. Your jokes should be like what I heard someone hear say about smiles

"You shouldnt do it 24/7, but every once and a while, like sunshine peeking through clouds"

^ Ight I see, thanks for helping me out buddy.

I need your point of view on this kind of situation:

I see my buddies (just some ppl I tease a lot) hanging there with some chicks, I go there, and I just begin to crack some jokes. It comes naturally, I'm not trying to impress anyone, it just comes out. So after, all the girls are laughing and ****, but then my mind blocks and I have nothing more to say so I just leave like that, before I do something dumb or whatever.
Like I leave saying : Ight, Im off *****es, peace. (this is the crew I insult a lot just for fun, we fight for fun, we fake some racist battles, all in good love)

But the problem is that I don't even get to talk to the girl they were with, when I look back then, it's like if I completely ignored them, it just bugs me man. So what do you think I should do to initiate a convo with the girls after I've made them all laugh. I don't see myself just fronting them and saying : So what's up today?
Just seem weird to me...

Thanks for helping.
