Im in a new city for 3 days and wanna mass dm

So I'm in a new city, it's a city with a bunch of universities and I have an old friend on instagram that I'm not really fond off, but he's from this city. So I found 5 accs from his following and I think dming at the same time would be smart.

Maybe an opener like:
opener 1: "City name?"
ex: New York?
opener 2:Hey

Im wondering if this is a good idea and I'm wondering if I should remove the friend from following cus it's he's the only mutual with the girls. I might be scared of a confrontation, not cus he would/could do something physically (i overpower him) but cus I dislike them. I lost touch because as a friend group they used to make fun of me and played it of as a joke when I confronted them, so maybe I'm scared of that.

Should I remove them from following, and should I mass dm?

Forget Instagram exists.

Go out into the real world and talk to women. If you put the same amount of effort into talking to women as you do into trying to avoid having to talk to women, you'd probably be good at talking to women by now.

Why to use social media anyway? Nobody really cares where are you aside of your closest friends and family.
