"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

3. Chicks with lots of guy friends are trouble because they tend to be attention sluts. When women say they don't get along with other females, that often translates to women not putting up with their bs whereas men do simply because they're female and want to sleep with her. See also: orbiters.
Right. A lot of times girls will say "I mainly have guy friends, girls are too catty and all drama, guys are so much cooler, they're all chill and laid back". And guys will accept this because hey, it makes sense. But it's actually a red flag.

All these guy friends are a constant source of attention and validation for her. She is used to having this fed to her, and will not want to give it up.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

not here. in the real world.
I agree with everything said here from all of my past experience. Women with a lot of male friends = attention wh0res and really, I feel it does truly undermine a relationship by either partner spending all of their time with their best "bud" of the opposite sex -- the sexual friction is still present...I feel for you man. IDK -- I think you already know the appropriate answer and solution.

I definitely believe men and women can be just friends, as some of my best friends in life are men.

However there are definitely some off things in this scenario, which have already been pointed out. I side with everyone who says be aware.
