Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I'm going to start approaching again and have a few questions.

You know what? Maybe I should start being more aggressive, maybe if she doesn't want to say anything interesting, she's just wasting my time, therefore approaching would be a waste of time. I'm starting to think that I should just forget you guys and figure this out on my own.
Wow, quick thinker. Its not wasting your time when you suck it at. Practicing to get better isnt a waste of time, change your view about that. You have to start somewhere, you cant come off the bench and be an all star because you want to. Try doing it on your own, im interested in whats gonna happen.

Some of the stuff you guys post helps me, but for the most part, it just doesn't help my game.
Or lack there of?? These people know what their talking about, youre too naive to accept it. I KNOW youre gonna criticize me because thats what you do. Take a step back and try to realize why we're getting annoyed with you. Look at what youve said and your attitude. Dont be such a **** when people are helping you. If you cant take constructive criticisim then wipe the sand outta your vagina and deal with it. I CANT wait to see your negative reaction to this...

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

try asking open ended questions.

see them eating ice cream "how's the ice cream?"
see them drop something in the hall way "Smooothhh"

Make small talk.
I've been using the "Hey, how's it going?" line, I wouldn't really call it open ended, because random girls usually just give me "Nothing" or "Good", since the girl usually doesn't reply with more than one word, I've tried this while approaching girls before too, so don't tell me wrong. And did you read the first post, dude? When I asked Tina "How was school today?" that was an open ended question, yet I just got "Good.".
Man, I really was mad when I saw Tina talking to this other black guy, about the same build as me, a little shorter than me, but more built, who she was clearly showing interest to, she was laughing at his jokes, cared about what he had to say, thought he was INTERESTING.
Man if girl problems aren't enough, there's a good chance me and this guy who talks alot of ****, are going to get in a fight. Although, this is actually a good thing, because if I do beat him up in the middle of the hallway and alot of people see it, I lose my reputation as being a softie and being the guy who takes **** from everyone and doesn't do anything back.
And no it doesn't give you the right to be rude, *******.

Here's an approach I did not so long ago. This girl had been giving me EC, and sly grins everytime I saw her.

*hb gives me eye contact*

Wes: *smile* Hey, you got the time?
HB9: Yeah, It's !time!
Wes: Aahh crap. Late again. What lesson you got?
Hb9: Maths.
Wes: Ouch. Unlucky...oops, where are my manners? My name is Wes, and you are?
Hb9: I'm....
Wes: wait! let me guess. Mary.
Hb9: Mary?! thats an old womans name! *laughs showing a great smile*
Wes: Sure.....you look like a nice gril. They're always called Mary.....That or Grace. Is it Grace?
Hb9: *laughing* It's Danielle......and I'm not really a nice girl.....*wicked grin*
Wes: oooo, my mummy warned me about girls like you. I'm not sposed to talk to them. But I tell you what.....*bekons her in and whispers* I've never listened to her. *stands up straight* Well, now i'm really late, thanks for distracting me Danielle. I'll see you around.

Didn't go for the number, coz I see her around alot, and I'd rather get to know her abit more.

You're making it alot harder than it should be.

okay edit:
Viper, you must know that we want to help you, you should be open for ALL advice, not just the advice you like. Ok , do read on.
on your reply:
MMM okay, so if that's the way it is, why didn't you skip the first part of my post and got on with the second part?
Have you read the E-book already?
Reading that will be way better then riffing on my posts ;)
Also, since you aren't the most popular dude in school (i figured that due some topics you opened) go practice somewhere else like a club, bar or mall or something, somewhere where you don't know the people yet.

Alright Viper - I'll try to help you out here.

First, u gotta be confident. Think of a few things that you like about yourself and roll with it. You need to have confidence, or else absolutely nothing will happen. You know that guy who's trying to "steal" Tina? You have to convince yourself that you are better than him. You must know WHY you are better for Tina than he is.

Confidence also includes being assertive. Don' tlet anyone push you around (don't get into a fight either). You do what YOU want - not what someone else demands you to do (in school). The guys here usually give pretty good advice, you just need to show that you're at least trying to do something with it. If you only post repeatedly with no apparent progress, no one will think highly of you. C=F (as I think I mentioned at hte end of this post as well) is important - it loosens the tension and lets the conversation flow much more smoothly. The girl will also become more interested in you. But again, confidence and assertiveness are key.

Next, when making an approach, have 1-2 topics in mind already. Not dialouges, just simple topics. Are you in a class with her? Do you guys participate in te same sport (like swimming or track)? Just try to come up with a few things you and the girl have in common. When you two are talking, put a topic you had in mind in play. See how that goes. Chances are, you can have a pretty good conversation if you believe in yourself and are confident

After that (or before), observe and listen. Your eyes and ears are arguably your biggest assets. See what she likes, see what she dislikes, see who she hangs out with, etc (even look into her eyes if you are able to) and lsiten to what she says. Sometimes, observing is better than talking, although you will have to talk at some point if you want anything to happen.

Finally, you must have a goal in mind and not be afraid to take some risks. Do you want to just talk to her? Do you want to ask her out? etc. Regarding risks, I feel you must take some (in general) to really advance.

Now, you might ask "Hey, exactly how much success have you had?" Well, I've never had a gf (I know, it's sad), but I feel I have very much improved since coming here. October 16, 2004 was my turning momemt. It was hte Homecoming Dance. At hte dance, I was stiff as a board due to extreme nervousness. There's a lot more to it, but after that horrible experience, I vowed to improve. Again, I also feel C + F is very important, as it makes conversations flow a lot more smoothly.

Good luck man!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Viper, remember what oakraider sayed....one step at a time.Best advice you can get. Im worried your thinking you need to be a DJ before the year is over. Plus, what is this sht bout you tryin to prove ur a badass by beatin up some kid in the hallway?Wat happens if you get knocked out? I dont care how much bigger you are than him, some ppl know how to fight reallllll dirrty.I would suggest you make freinds with as much guys as possible and try to hang with them after school when girls are round. This way it wont be "awkward" for you to talk to them, since youll be doing somtin with them. And like I sayed before everything you need is on this site. Its really just up to you........
