When you were *vetting* her - so to speak
Did the type of family she comes from, and the type of people her parents are, factor into your equation?
Or did you just judge her based on *her*
we've dated for 3 years. i know everything I can possibly want to know about her.
her parents are farmers. very hard working people, very nice. love me to death.
While she is from England.. she's pretty damn country. Not like we think of country as in southern people but.. she's a hands on, farm animal loving, not afraid to get her hands dirty gal. she even cuts the grass. that's what stands out about her phsycially to me.. she's natually drop dead beautiful. roll out the bed in pj's geogrous, i can count on the number of fingers she's taken the time to really put on makeup. maybe some lip liner or something like that but she's just hot.. if I say so myself. guys asked me all the time.. you've dated hotter women than that... yes.. with an hour worth of makeup on and **** me heels yes. strip them of the makeup and she wins by a country mile and when she does take the time to put on makeup you can forget it.
very very traditional parents, which is one of the reasons I called them before I dealt with her. We go ther once a year and her dad and I had a man to man.
I mean.. I dont' flaunt it but I do good for myself..I know her enough to know that while she likes not having to work, that doesn't really matter to her. I can't buy her. but she's not materialstic whatsoever. I"m not really either. Put her anywhere near horses and she's as happy as a punk in the pen.
her mom has a college degree, but works on their farm as well. it's a pretty succuessful farm. She didn't grow up broke, but they just aren't that materialstic. Like I said.. as long as she's got a horse in her life or something to do with horses she's A okay. If she isn't at Del mar she's competing in dressage shows, if she isn't doing that she's giving riding lessons to someone. Her life is horses. She is a true horse lover.
We have a joint Amex Account together and I tell her.. hey.. if you want something go get it. do somethign for yourself every once in a while. in the last 3 months besides the normal bills and groceries, she has bought a new saddle, got some earrings and paid for her best firends birthday dinner last week.
her main concern financially is that joe is taken care of, which is mine as well and which he is. everyting else we have and do is just gravy. We could move out of this house blocks from the beach and move to a 2 bedroom apartment somewhere in the hood and be just as happy.
