"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Well, this girl at work had a crush on me for a while, then she left my work for a few months and came back, still having a crush on me for about a year in total. She's prolly HB6.5. I'm a 20 year old virgin. I'm a little cool but very antisocial. Anyways, she asked me to hang out one day, and I said sure. We hung out twice, the first time with a female friend of hers. They both told me I was hot and **** - I said I knew that - and they talked about their breasts and stuff, kinda teasing me, **** like that. I was basically the ****ing man that day as well and C+F'd the place up. The second time we hung out we went to a movie and obviously didn't talk all that much - plus she had to wake up early so had to seperate right away.

Try to understand here - I'm not exactly a Don Juan. I don't even want to be. I'm just seeking the advice of the masters.

Anyways, four days later she comes to my house. We make out a bit and I feel up her breasts, and we're very affectionate to each other the entire time, a long time. I thought I would've had a good chance of getting her into my bed, but I was somewhat scared. We watched two movies over the course of the night. After the first movie, I asked her if she should be going (before the affection), and she didn't want to.

I call her two days later, invite her to chill, and she asked if I want to know the truth. I said that I guess so. Then she said the affection felt weird and reminded her too much of her old boyfriend (she's had only one long term relationship in her life). I said thats OK and asked if I should give up on her. I mostly heard mumbles and something about friendship, which made me feel sort of pathetic, and she said that she felt pathetic herself.

I said I might call her again sometime, but I wasn't sure. She said something kind of fragmented about calling me. I don't know exactly.

I'm not a complete idiot. The fact that our affection reminded her of her boyfriend could be bull ****. She said something about friendship, which makes me think AFC ****. My sister was the one who had told me the HB6.5 (the three of us work together) had the one relationship, and it did sound serious. It's all sort of perplexing. I was thinking I'd call her in two weeks or something, maybe.

Or should I just **** off? Seems logical... But I do seem to like her. But I'm a 20 year old virgin - I might like any woman who looks at me. bah

oh well

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Yeah...I'm not DJ either, but it seems to me that if you want any chance with her, you're going to have to move on, and forget about her. :/ Weird, I know, how you need to do opposite to make it happen, but that's what you're going to have to do.

I'm not going to lie to you, but yeah, you needed to make some sort of move that night, especially when she said, "I don't want to go", and now that you didn't she may just be thinking,
"Well, ****, he doesn't even want to fool around with me, when I'm throwing myself at him...he must think I'm gross. I better protect myself here."

So I think you should forget about her, and move on to other things. Ignore her for a while, and next her, and have fun with other women, and who knows, one day when you're a little more "The Man", she'll be attracted to you again, and you can mack on her.

Sounds like she's not over her ex and feels guilty for what she did with you. Sometimes that happens and you really shouldn't let it get to you.

nish,

Well, she told me she didn't want to go BEFORE any sort of affection. I felt her and we made out afterwards. It probably doesn't matter much -

I'm sure I'm still ****ed.

But this is a good chance to experiment with other ladies.

Wyldfire,

I hope you're right. That's why I didn't try to act like a jerk or anything. I figured I might just give her a call after a long while - after we've both stepped away from the situation.

"I said thats OK and asked if I should give up on her."

It is unattractive to woman when a man ASKS her what he should do. A man needs to take the lead and and act, the woman will respond accordingly.

That sentence was certainly a kiss of death, and reeked of neediness. You should have just been cool and aloof about it.

From reading your thread it sounds like she could tell you were scared to do anything more with her. She probably wanted to at the time, but since you are a virgin and it's probably scary for you she rationalized after the fact that since nothing big happened, that you are just her friend.

I would just find another girl. It would be much easier than trying to fix up this girl.
