"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Hey everyone.

Well i'm back in town after my cousins wedding and some nice time at the lake. I'm sure you all missed me :D

What you didn't?

Well i missed you :p

So long story short when i was at the wedding i was spitting game at this hb7-8 and was having a good time. She's not related to me at all (cousin of the bride) so ya... Well anyways, i found out she's the same age as me and gonna be starting at this school in houston this fall, but she has a lot of friends going to the school i'm going to (TTU) which is like 4 or 5 hours away from houston.

She made it sound like she would come up and visit her friends so i decided to get her number "Hey you should give me your number so we can keep in touch" is the line i used. This was on the 10th. So I'm thinking about calling her tommorow to make sure she gets my #. Then probably get her aim/e-mail account because it would be easier to keep in contact with her through that. What do you think of that idea.

My plan is to get her information, and maybe some of her friends, so that if she ever goes up to TTU we could go party. And i could also meet her friends.

Just tell me what you all think.

I'm starting to get the dizzies from the plane flight so. night!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Hey Vincent, welcome back

by the sound of your post you've been pretty busy on your little leave, anyways, when you call that chick tomorrow, you should get her email, no aim, makes you look like you have too much time on your hand, and even email is kind of pushing it, but as long as its used sparingly, should be ok, just try to setup a date that she can make it up to TTU for a couple of days, i wouldnt recommend having her friends come along, if their males, they might try to ****block, females might turn into green envious biatches, it all depends how serious you are with getting with this chick, your call.

Yeah, i can see that working, although i can forsee a problem with the aim/e-mail. Because you are not actually in physical contact, you become in danger of falling into the friendship zone.

I'm going to go on a limb and say that it's more complicated than that. :)

Looks like we got ourselves an einstein. Tell you what Albert, instead of trying to find things that are wrong in other peoples replies, why don't you reply with something constructive and helpful?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Good thinking.

My basic thinking was that i could get with her friends because she probably wouldn't be up that often, and using her as a doorway, that is to say, get to her friends (which i'm assuming are all female).

I think i'll just call her today maybe not get her e-mail and wait a lil closer to school starting to get more info, plus that way she'll know her schedule a little better and can make some more difinitive plans.

Well there are more to it than just entering the friendship zone by using aim. My thinking was to use it irregularly to just see if she'll be up or if i would ever go down to houston. Not a daily thing.

But you guys need to relax when people criticize your posts, try to probe for more information not blatently insult.

jonny's hypothetical response to SaA:
"Perhaps it might be more complicated than what I said, but what do you feel about the situation? What things would you include to make it more complicated?"

Alright guys any more advice?
