"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I don't see why all of this have to do with you being a doctor ....

You can't try to pick up chicks because .... Your a doctor
You can't ruin your reputation because ... Your a doctor

Seriously being a doctor can only give you an advantage over other guy because it gives you status etc ... You are making it like its a disadvantage .

People don't really care if you are a doctor lol
You can't party and chase girl because you have a phd ??! Wtf

You sound very self councious about all that stuff. When you introduce yourself to people you tell them you are a doctor before telling them your name ?!

Anyways just quit that doctor thing and have some fun lol cause if I learned 1 thing in life is that ..... OTHER PEOPLE DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR REPUTATION...

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You care too much what other people think of you. I realize it's not the easiest of things to overcome. I also realize, as a doctor, you may feel you have to behave in somewhat of a more professional manner, more so than let's say a college student who works part time as a brick layer. However, you can still be "professional", while hitting on chicks.

On a side note, my main advice for you is to not throw out your Dr. status right from the get go. Try to pick up these chicks, without telling them you're a doctor. If they ask what you do, make up something cheesy and/or ridiculous, an obvious joke, remain 'mysterious', don't use your Dr. status as a means to picking up women, as hard as that may be. In other words, don't try to impress these women. Women can see what you're doing, and, although you may get a pass, they would ultimately be attracted to the idea of dating a Dr., and not necessarily the idea of dating YOU. See the difference? The "Dr." part will come later, as a bonus, after she's already interested in YOU.

Also, on a related note, how would someone of my age, or someone in their 40's, be perceived if they were walking around campus or a mall, directly hitting on 20 something women? 'Creepy'? Could my 'reputation' take a hit? Maybe.

It's called Indirect game. Find an in, and start up a conversation with a woman, like you would anyone else. Be friendly, but still Manly. Make sense? Let them become attracted to you. Let them ask YOU out. Either that, or wait until their buying temperature is High, then: "You want to finish this conversation over some coffee or a drink some time?" Or something of the like. On top of it all, be selective, don't hit on everything that moves. Show some self-respect, no one will fault you for asking out the HB9. You may be judged for directly hitting on the HB6.

Also, there's plenty of places where "professionals" hang out, upscale places. Start visiting those.

Just because you're a Dr. doesn't mean you still can't be a MAN.
