Illuminate the Room with Confidence

Wouldn't it be great if someone got a feeling of warmth and love every time they interacted with you? Using the NLP trick below, it's quite possible.

Outer radiance comes from within. So in order to project your radiance onto to someone, you must be brimming, nay, overflowing with confident, loving energy. Think about something which really makes you happy or of the most fun you've ever had - anything to bring yourself to a happy, positive state-of-mind. Now allow that feeling to pervade your entire body, through your limbs to your finger tips and through all of your veins and arteries.

When you speak to someone while your heart is filled with nothing but joy and love, it's nearly impossible for them not to respond positively. They will pick up on and mirror your good energy. People want to be elevated from their usual state of boredom, and they are practically begging to be loved - so just love them already, dammit! Don't judge them or simply tolerate them. Accept and love them for the unique beings that they are, filled with all of the faults and imperfections which come as a condition of being human.

The master radiator always seeks to accept the other person's point of view. They look to agree and find common ground between the two parties first. It is universally agreed that human beings like to feel that their thoughts and ideas are important. They want to feel valued. They want to feel loved. So by simply agreeing with someone and accepting their point of view, you impart a piece of positive, loving energy into that person's day. This radiance of positive energy can be sensed. It's subtle, but it exists. People who have interacted with Bill Clinton, Gandhi or even Swami Vivekananda have all reported feeling like they feel important and more inspired after just very brief encounters. They are intense but warmhearted, charming but humble.

They offer reasoning from the other parties point of view with no judgment or bias- they speak the plain truth. Yet they aren't candid to fault, as they understand that silence is golden. Masters of charisma don't interject or interrupt, they don't have to constantly hurl their own egos into the conversation for them to pay attention.

Consider the example from Mark Antony's speech in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.

Antony was able to convince the crowd that Brutus was in the wrong without turning the crowd against him, just by initially agreeing with the angry mob. Antony was able to persuade the seemingly unswayable by accepting their premises as his own and using their logic against them.

Radiate the room of your next party. Just keep in mind these two key principles:

1) Project a warm and friendly vibe by transforming your inner-self.

2) Agree with people and then talk to them from their point of view.

absolutely agree with the inner energy thing, you can do or say anything if it flows congruent with your inner energy. If you can connect yourself with the sorce of power, it will feel like as if god(or whatever) is taking care of everything and you jus cannot fail. great post
