If you have approach anxiety, do this tomorrow

I posted this in tips a while back, but I thought I'd give it some exposure here because it works.

If you suffer from approach anxiety, here is a way for you to make MASSIVE headway into defeating it.

Find a Saturday rummage sale. Look in the newspaper classifieds and locate one or two. They're usually hosted by churches.

Go to the rummage sale, and you will see that most of the tables are staffed by women, young and old. All you have to do is start talking about anything that's on the table, ask how's business, etc. Since this is a structured, "safe" environment and they are bored and want to make sales, the b!tch shields are completely thrown down and you'll be able to have easy, friendly conversations with them.

I challenge anyone with AA to try this. You will not be sorry. The ease with which you can talk with these women is like nothing you've ever seen. The real value in this is that your mind will harbor these experiences as reference points and you will start to experience the same ease in future social situations after some practice.

Give it a whirl and report back your findings. I repeat, this is for guys who are trying to overcome AA and not a pickup technique per se. The goal is to learn easy conversation with nice looking women and install reference experiences in your mind, not to bed them down.

On a related note:
I had a sales job where I would have to cold approach people in a store and try to sell them on one of our products. Of course, at the beginning, I was somewhat anxious. But after a few hours it it became nothing, no hesitation or fear. The people who were mostly receptive were women. So eventually, all I would do is talk to women. Sometimes they would shut me down before I could even open my mouth, other times they would be completely open and listen to what I would had to say. The ones that would shut me down, it became so it did not bother me AT ALL (usually the ugly ones were the *****iest, strange how that works) But most of them were polite, and after a while, even if they weren't interested in my product, some of them would still hang around and just talk to me about whatever. That job would get me in the zone, whenever I left it and went somewhere else I would end up talking to whoever was around me, with girls there was no hesitation to go up to them and say hi and throw something out at em.

It was a great job, taught me the right way to cold approach a "target" and it taught to just not give a fvck. Most people will be receptive and open to some kind of interaction. The ones that aren't, next em and don't look back.
