"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

it's crystal clear that nowadays any guy from below average to above average has to PUT A LOT OF EFFORT if he wants to have sex with a woman HE finds attractive, a lot of work. Or...he can do nothing...and he may eventually find a gf he finds ok just by chance.
Just curious, why nowadays?
What brought about these changes? Was there a shift in our culture?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Sure-

Due to the Instagram and Celebrity culture we live in, looks are now more important than they were before. I honestly think that in the 70's and 80's, women had more substance and looked for other things in a man. Now, they do not care if you are smart, or come from a good family, or can speak in full sentences. They just care that you're hot so they can show you off to their friends etc.

The above poster is absolutely correct that a below average looking guy will have to work extremely hard to get sex. And often, it's not worth it. He ends up losing self-confidence after doing sets, and might even go into a full blown depression. Remember high school when all the good looking people were the most popular? This isn't just some fluke. The good looking people have larger social networks, have more fun, and get more sex. Yes, there's trade offs...they have more drama sometime and their lives aren't perfect. They have kids out of wedlock and have to deal with cheating. But the point I'm trying to make is that an AFC isn't even in the game. He has to struggle and struggle just go get one date, and a lot of the time the girls don't respect him. If you're tall, built, and look like Channing Tatum you will get instant respect from women without doing ANYTHING.

There is truth in this but to be honest most AFC's are hardly helping themselves, Show me a picture of an AFC who complains of bad treatmen because he's "ugly" and I guarentee i'll be able to make several suggestions of how he can up his physical attractivness.

most of them are out of shape, have bad haircuts and facial hairstyle, have poor choice of clothing etc.

You'd be surprised how different these guys would look if you stuck them in the gym for 9 months, gave them a stylish haircut and put them in some proper fitting stylish clothes.

A prime example is this dude i found online

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGxKErL369U

the 28 year old virgin, then 2 years later he made a follow up 30 year old virgin.

This dude is overweight, needs to get that mole removed but if this guy had spent 12 months in the gym, getting ripped and learned a bit of game he'd have got laid, but instead he just ruminates on how unfair it all is. I mean physically the dude is not beyond saving, but mentally he's already quit on life.

Bottom line, unless you have put the work in to make yourself as attractive as you can, dont complain about being unattractive.

A straight man getting ratty over not getting the fukks might indicate to others that he has no 'emotional intelligence' which you could agree neither gender finds attractive, but meanwhile so many girls have no logic or tact.

No wonder 'woe is me' threads are a regular thing. A man is having to work with and socialise with women who off the bat hate his looks and are trying to DESTROY him on those grounds, and society accepts it. I know this full well that its affected my OWN life decisions. Every so often I still see that bullied kid in the mirror, whether or not you believe bullies can be down to the state of 'the system'.

I admire the 'man up' mantra, but its just there to provide hope because its only dished out between the guys. The girls, probably not knowing who Clint Eastwood was, instead put men down and play into their insecurities.

Seriously my only resort over this BS was intense therapy to stop myself going totally off the rails.

I dunno. Some of us have things outside our control of which a lot of women are still particularly vocal about being turned off by. They lack acknowledgement of how they affect his confidence.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
