Where I live (The UK) some Asians of middle class are cleaning it up. Some are not doing it because they don't want someone of a different race and some are just a bit slow and not with the program. All in equal numbers.
Most Asian men with money have hot girlfriends.
In the end, its more about social status for normal income men ($40,000 - $100,000). Money doesn't start to matter a lot until its an unusual amount of wealth.. like CEO, Celebrity, Lottery winner, etc.
In a situation where all other things are equal.. having more money wins. In a situation where you have a hot guy who is broke and an ugly guy who has an average job.. the hot guy wins.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
