"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I know practicality and reality are somewhat opposed to every encounter being for a relationship/marriage 'the one but is this the justification for being with someone.

Obviously women just want physical encounters as well but do they justify it by saying it was a 'relationship' albeit mini :)

eg. if a woman pursues you are they looking for a relationship or physical?

- general points and comments - i know it varies for every situation

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

In fact, my last gf was a rare case of truly massive interest (cleaning my house, introducing her parents) that was utterly meaningless. Just just getting sex, boosting her ego, and making her ex jealous.

Women for the most part, don't know what they're looking for. They react to their emotions. If she FEELS she's in love with the guy, she'll want a relationship. If she FEELS attraction toward him, she'll want to fvck him.

This is why most women enjoy "going with the flow", believing in destiny, and enjoy astrology. They have no clue on how to control their own lives, so they take whatever makes them FEEL and toss aside the things that are bland and boring.

The women who DO know what they're looking for are also affected by their emotions. They're the ones who FEEL their biological clocks ticking. They're looking for a sperm donor, be it a LTR or ONS. Whatever it takes to give birth before the bells start ringing and menopause strikes.

I think most women are looking for the one. Except if they've been hurt recently and then they MIGHT be looking for a **** - either because they hate men/don't want to trust one/don't want to be hurt. I think even those types are still looking for the RIGHT man.

Unless a girl is on holiday - then she will be more of a slut/player.

Who knows - not all girls are the same.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Most normal and mature heterosexual men and women want the same thing: a stable long term sexual relationship.

I think that most women ARE looking for a relationship. But the way most of them find it is through other avenues.

Some women are out looking for fun. Some are out looking for sex. Some are out looking for a companion to go out on the town with. And some are out looking for somebody to talk to.

Now the significance to all this is summed up by one question:

Which of these things that they are looking for is their most DOMINANT NEED or DESIRE. If a guy meets or exceeds fulfilling this role in the woman's life, THEN she gives some SERIOUS thought to recasting him.

As what?

"A guy she wants to be in a RELATIONSHIP with."

In other words, no matter what she thought she was looking for in the beginning, if she finds someone she FEELS is a catch, she's gonna try to hold on to him by attaching herself to him within the confines of a committed RELATIONSHIP.

Peace...one day.

That is so very true! One gal I dated was a personification of that. Sad thing for her was that her impatience destroyed what could have been a good chance of eventually having the kid she so desperately wanted.
