Don't take this crap lightly becuase IT DOES HAPPEN!

Why? It just happened to me.

I lost my wallet up at school last year and had my Social Security Card (inside). I immediately went to the Social Security office in Boston and had them flag my Social Security #, as well as call all three credit bureaus.

I just got a call today from HSBC bank Retail Fraudaulent office. Apparently somone used my ssn and identity to charge over $2500 in HP equipment.

Luckily, everything has been on fraud alert and I am not responsible for this bill.

Don't give out your ssn to anybody (unless it is for a job)
