"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I quit my crappy retail job today, I gave my 2 week notice because its too much BS for not enough pay(base pay is 7.25 minimum wage, my current pay is 7.85).

I hate retail with a burning passion, I hate customer service....does anyone have any ideas for simpler fields of work?

I've only been in the USA for almost 2 years now, I had this job for over a year & it was my first job. Any field paying $10+ an hour would be sufficient. Any help is much appreciated. The future of my self improvement is riding on this.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

how about factory/ warehouse work. Many of them pay about $9 /hr. At UPS and Fedex they pay around $11, but requires constant lifting of heavy boxes.
You can also check out construction work which pays a lot more.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

It totally boggles my mind how low wages are in the US... I haven't made anything less than $12-15/hour since I was 18. I guess cost of living is a lot lower down there as well. In one of my last years of school I was making close to 5k/month CASH working part time simply working as a waiter and stripping.

Kirro... go to school and get a degree(s) in something healthcare related. Pharmacy or nursing/nurse anesthesia are great options. Both jobs are pretty low key/chill jobs... Pharmacy: $40-50+/hour for putting pills in bottles... You can be a pharmacist with 6-7 years from now even if you need a year to upgrade your marks. Nurse anesthesia: once you get your airway and lines in place you mostly just are hanging out watching monitors for $70-100/hour. You can be a CRNA (nurse anesthetist) within 8-10 years from now assuming you take a year to upgrade and then work a couple of years prior to going back for your masters.

I know you're in your early 20s, and both of these careers can EASILY be acheived with some planning/hard work and determination by the time you're around 30.

iF you're a real sick phuck come up here and work on the oil rigs up in the north... Those guys make a killing, but the work for rough necks is hardcore and brutal... 12 hour days 7 days a week 2-3 weeks at a stretch in freezing ass cold weather. However, you're easily making over 100k CDN working 6-8 months out of the year.

Figure out a career path for yourself now and execute it. Then save capital and open a business... because let me tell you its almost impossible to get rich (think net worth of over 5 million) simply by working.

You kno wot? In Australia, the absolute mininimum, bare minimum wage an employee is allowed to be paid is like $17 per hour, even in retail. And if its a sunday or a public holiday: double. Minimum.

Bear in mind here guys that the AUD is worth more than the Greenback at this point in time, its about $1.02 US atm, it was up to $1.10 only 2/3 weeks ago.

Also bear in mind the unemploment rate is 5.1%. It was under 5% for years, but its still pretty low regardless.

Tbh I think that Minimum wage legislations sucks, and that employers should be allowed to pay their workers whatever the hell they think they're worth, but I am a libertarian.

I basically went to all the hassle of starting my own business and everything just so I could choose how much I charged for my time instead of being arbitrarily forced to accept award wages and union bargains etc.

The economy in the Western world is completely fvcked up now because Unions made it illegal for industry to have access to cheap labour in the west. Well, make no mistake, there is still cheap labor in the world, its just that the western economies can now longer utilise it and thus atrophy and die, their economies become less and less productive, generating less and less real wealth every year.

It will happen to Australia too, its just a matter of time. We have so far had the incredible luck of having a huge, sparsely populated, resource rich landmass all to ourselves, and made use of our competitive advantages in cheap energy generation from fossil fuels and proximity to booming China/India/Indonesia to thrive, but our current left-wing government is doing everything it can to reverse this situation, by trashing our competitive advantage through cheap energy by implementing the world's biggest carbon tax, and imposing a disgracefully socialist resource "rent" tax on our mining industry.

Anyway, I endorse Fuglydude's advice. I'm in the healthcare sector and my new business is thriving. I've only been operating for less than 6 months and I'm totally booked out, and momentum just keeps building. I will be looking to expand and employ workers myself in the new year, so there is definately some growth in this industry, as anyone who has studied the demographic curve in western countries could have speculated.

You need to create value, that's all there is to it. Perfect a process of creating value for your clients, then advertise it, and you'll start raking in the $$$. There's nothing to it, its the way of the future.
