"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey guys, I'm thinking we need to get a thread going about quality icebreakers. I'll start.

I used this once in a drunken stupor.

So... girl talking to her friend glances at me a couple times from across the room. I walk over with a big smile on my face and say, "Hi, wanna see a magic trick?" - girls look at each other, then the one who looked at me says, "sure." So I proceed to pour myself a shot from the bottle I'm holding and say, "I'm going to make this shot disappear." - with a big grin on my face. I then take my free hand and put it in front of my mouth and tilt the shot back. I say, "See. Gone." - the girls giggle a little - then before they can say anything, I say, "your turn," with a challenging grin on my face. Whatdya know? The one who was looking at me takes the shot out of my hand and makes it disappear. From then on the conversation continued...

*Note, I did this at a college party, so these were college girls. Additionally, everyone was drunk. I'm actually still a little surprised to this day that that one worked. As corny as this was, it only worked because I approached them with sheer confidence.

There's mine. How about your icebreaker now? :D

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

"Hi"
"Hello"
"Your cute...why havent i met you yet"
"Whats going on"

and for my secret weapon....

A comment on absolutely anything thats going on.
-comment on her drink
-comment on some drunk dude
-comment on her clothes
-any goddamn comment

Seriously...it doesnt even matter if it makes logical sense...women are emotional. As long as you start a conversation, its a success.

I'm always at bars, so I'll plant my ass on a bar stool and wait for them to come around. It's easy from there.

Girl comes up to order a drink, if nothing stands out for me to comment on, I'll fall back on an old trusty:

Me: I'm not going to by you a drink (serious look, like I disapprove of her)
Her: Huh? I wasn't going to ask you to.
Me: Ok (as I turn away, presumingly forgetting about her)

a few seconds go by as her hamster starts to turn

Her: wait (as she's tapping me on my shoulder) why did you think I was going to ask you to buy me a drink??
Me: girls do that a lot
Her: I don't, I'm not like...blah blah blah

Then the conversation ensues. Some times with them buying me a drink, just to prove how they're not like that ;)

It's all about being situationally in tune. My best icebreakers are the ones I think of on the spot because no two situations are the same. Stop overanalyzing and just approach. You'll find some bs to pull out of your ass.

I like this. I think I could pull this off. I'm going to field test it once I recover fully and get back out in the field.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
