I was supposed to go to the Windy City smokeout this weekend with 6 friends

Windy city smokeout is a country music festival in Chicago (good music, great food). I was supposed to go Sunday with my 2 male friends, his girlfriend and like 5 of her friends

My male friends are both cancelling so I would basically just go with his girlfriend and their friends. Should I still go? I get along great with her so I don't think it would be awkward but I'm not used to hanging out with 5 women (only one in the group is single but she's not my type - she's a white girl, blonde, california blonde type). Would I still have fun? the girls are all 21-25 but my buddy's girlfriend is pretty mature for her age

I'm used to having all male friends. Is it going to be awkward? I'm not used to just hanging out with women with no romantic interest involved. I strongly prefer male friends...

This is exactly the sort of thing I would have made myself do when I was younger, just to get the social experience of it. It might be awkward, but who cares? You should come out of it feeling more relaxed around women.

Just don't bore them to death telling them how great you are.
