Had a lil bit of an online side hustle for the last 5 years it was a hobby but made me some decent money.
That's pretty much died. So I need a new hobby.
For fun I started rebuilding a really bad fishing website I made like 5 years ago and abandoned after a few weeks.
I'm treating it as a learning project, getting AI to help with writing content (then a bit really light editing).
Quite shocked how good AI is these days, really enjoying understanding it and working with it.
Making like a million mistakes. I don't expect much from.my site, But it's turning out to be great learning tool for where I'm at right now. And more importantly I'm loving it, as in creating something.
ultralightfish.com
Bit of an example of what I'm doing. It ain't great but it's helping me learn a ton.
Plan is to focus on my fishing site and get it to the point it feels finished to me (Not setting my sights too high).
When it feels finished IF I'm getting enough traffic I'll bang on something like AdSense and Amazon affiliate links.
Then want to move onto something else.
Looking for ideas and inspiration. As in different directions to go in after this site is done.
I honestly don't mind spewing AI content all over the internet. I'm quite interested/intrigued with the idea of using AI to create videos at the moment.
So I definitely think doing something with AI is 100% the road I want to go down as it's fascinating as **** to me.
Ideas?
Mostly as a hobby but a trickle of money would be a bonus and certainly wouldn't hurt.
