"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I told a girl I really like that we are friends. Is that wrong?

Hi Guys. Just wanted to ask a question here about telling a girl you really find attractive that she is a friend.

Quick story. Was out tonight and saw this girl that I like. I believe she likes me as well. She comes over to me and says she is not feeling well and sits down beside me. She tells me she is going home. I offered to give her a ride home and she accepted. As I drove her home about halfway there she thanked me and I said, "I hate to see my friends sick" She never responded to it.

Should a guy that likes a girl call her a friend? Is that a challenge? Or will it put me in the friends zone?

Just a note, She really was sick, none of this just pretending to be sick so she could get a ride with me. Don't go reading anything else into this. She was almost throwing up and she looked really pale.

I think she likes me because she has enough trust in me to accept a ride in my car. I also think there is some tension between us, I know I can feel it.

David D. says to call them a friend because that sets up a challenge. Does anyone have any hard evidence that this works?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

To the original poster... brother don't worry about a thing... Just keep the frame that she's just a friend, until you see her in person once and you built up a lot of tension within her.. and then just escalate to sexual .. passionately kiss her and bone her on the spot.
Thanks for that, it's hard sometimes to do all the counter intuitive stuff that is supposed to work.

As RT once said women have boyfriends and girlfriends, if you are not fvcking her you are her girlfriend.

See this is the problem with some of you guys on here, you are projecting your own feelings to the girl, when in actuality you have no idea if she wants you to fvck her.

This means nothing to her. You offered to give her a ride thus supplicating (there was no seduction there, you assumed that this will increase her interest in you but in actuality it does nothing.)

It is a challange if you already hold the frame that she likes you but just saying that in your situation doesn't change the reality.

You would have been better of if she wasn't sick. Women tend to associate negative feelings with the people around them. Never ever try to sarge or attempt to increase a woman's interest in you when she is upset. Its best that you catch her when she feels good thus she will associate you with good feelings.

Trust has nothing to do with attraction, it only comes later after you established high interest. You seemed harmless enough (maybe you are the prototype "Nice Guy") and offered her a ride home instead of her taking a taxi, of coarse she will take it.

Sorry to say but so far you got nothing. Stop beating around the bush and ask her out otherwise it will be too late (I fear it might be already).

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Doesn't matter if YOU consider her a friend, only matters if SHE considers YOU a friend. If the girl feels attraction for you already, then calling her a friend or not isn't going to make any difference. In fact it might make her put some extra effort to make you think of her as more than that. If she doesn't feel attraction for you then it doesn't matter what you call her. So no biggie in my opinion.

only on this forum does accecpting a ride mean that she likes you and wants you in between your legs... you guys are searching.

signs a girl likes you:

1) Sucking you off
2) Kissing you
3) Asking you to kiss her
4) Asking you out on a date
5) giving you "massages"

(get the point?)

a woman will make it KNOWN that she iether likes you, or make it so ovbious that she wants you to hit on her that my blind great grandmother can see it loud and clear.

I mean g uys... it's not that damn hard. STOP. Just STOP. You are a guy that she doesn't htink is creepy, but you have use for her as long as you want enterence into her viginia.. and rest assured.. she's 3 steps ahead of you. She knows you like her. Women aren't dumb.. that's why this is pointless. She knows one day the day is going ot come that you are going to gather the courage to "make a move" and she will let you down gently, or harshly, regardless of what you think she feels for you. however she will give you just enough "signs" to keep your **** hard and your mind blank.

You will never, ever EVER go wrong with my number one rule.... make her commit. Push the issue. THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN IS SHE DOESN'T LIKE YOU. But at least then you aren't spending a year jacking off to the the thought of her holding your hand. she's either in or out. Judging by the lack of sexual nature between you two, she's out.
