"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So a girl from Tinder gave me her number and we're chatting and that's her excuse not to go on a date, when she couldn't possibly know my philosophy at all. I told her stories that showed me in a good light without being ****y, I have a plan in life, and she just took it all like I was one big pile of **** regardless. I'm not really sure WHY she did this, as she was obviously never interested from before she willingly gave me her phone number. Another horrible person.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

She simply wasn't interested, don't take what she said seriously. It doesn't matter. Doesn't sound like she's a horrible person either, she was trying to be polite (key word is "trying").

Also if you were telling her stories before even going on a first date, I'd have to say you said too much. You probably came across as needy. Better to keep communication short and simple, save the stories for the date. By the way, I'm assuming you told her these stories over the phone... because if you texted her all this information, then you really screwed up.

Whatever. When you meet online they are always looking for any reason to reject you. So by keeping the phone/text convos to a minimum before you meet in person you have a better shot at not saying something that rubs her the wrong way. I've made this mistake myself a few times. Plus these online chicks are coming from a place of huge abundance, they have 1,000 guys trying to get their attention. The cards are stacked against you bro. Just learn from it and keep trying.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Just taking a shot but I reckon you're about the 510th guy she's given that line to in her life. Chicks do that. Its not logical as you can't judge one's philosophy on life on f**king tinder. The real reason is she's not interested in you anymore, might have been the way you came across but its more her bullsh*t than anything you've done wrong.

Chill. She just wasn't interested. What did you want her to say? "Sorry I don't find you attractive"? "I suspect you're a wuss and not worth my time"? Women are never going to tell you why. At best their excuse might have a hint of truth to it. Tell her to call you if she changes her mind and never think about her again unless she does call you.

My philosophy is to ditch that b**ch and move on! You can do better than a common online attention wh0re. Neither you nor the 236 guys that got her number before you looked like Channing Tatum. Of course she's gonna use this soft rejection on you!

I've never used Tinder, and I don't use okcupid anymore. Waste of f**kin' time.

Case closed. Delete her from all platforms and block her if necessary.

I don't use OLD, so I'm really not sure how to handle something like this, I will say that I really never talk to a woman over the phone too long.

I would only call long enough to make a date and then do all my talking in person. Not sure why anyone would want to spend any time talking to a woman when you have no idea what she REALLY looks like.

I would hate it if I spend two hours of my life chatting up a chick, only to find out that when I met her on a date, to find out she shaves her head and has a tarantula spider tattoo on her neck.
