I think the tide is starting to turn back now

I’m talking about the sociopolitical maelstrom that started when the world ended (2012). Since that year, progressive liberalism tried taking over and the pussification of people began taking place. But just by noticing things and people around me, I’m noticing that things are starting to turn back to wht they used to be not too long ago. I think by 2024 things will have completely shifted back to how they were before then, but there will also be extreme civil unrest (and it’ll also take several more years till things are REALLY back to normal). Anyway, have any of you guys noticed things changing as well? Or am I just going nuts?

I don't think things will ever go back to what they were. They will just continue to morph into something new. There may be a backlash at work, but I don't think things will ever fully reverse themselves.

I said sociopolitically. Yeah they’ll change into something new. But I mean the overall mentality of people will become similar to that of the late 90s, early 2000s. That’s what I’m getting at.

Sociopolitically all I see around me are european voters voting right and dropping left, even leftists themselves are less and less aggressive day after day cause they smell anger and willingness to harm them.

I hear comments about mass migrations that would have had people fired from work a couple of years ago.

Someone finally realized that the dinner table was getting ready for him not to be a guest but the meal.

Hmmmm.. Yeah I can see the pendulum start to sway back a little. Socially, look on Youtube and you will see MGTOW is really starting to take off. Men are getting wise and MGTOW/red pill comments are starting to appear on videos that are not MGTOW specific. Women's true colors are really coming to light. Politically, the left is starting to break down. The FBI is getting caught with their pants down on the corruption they took part in regarding Trump and Hillary. Even many blacks who normally lean left are starting to sway towards the right because they are realizing that the left is their enemy not their friend. I can see some truth in what you are saying.

Sadly, not too sure in the NYC area. Still very liberal. Seems the millennial all want things for free. Free healthcare, free housing, free college, free life. Indeed. For many years the leftist media has been pushing a Neo-Liberal agenda. Neo-Liberalism is essentially a capitalistic business model that profits from imposing Political Correctness on society and keeping people as docile sheep through threats of intimidation and harrasment - if anyone speaks out against it they are publicly shamed and could possibly lose their job. In essence, it is both a political and economic strategy to impose a feudal caste system onto the masses by intimidating people to not speak out. Indeed, liberalism is the new fascism.

For many years, the media and hollywood culture has skewed American society so far left that someone like Trump was bound to happen - it is an inevitability. We see the pendulum analogy being used a lot in political discussions all over the web and it is a good analogy because when the pendulum swings too far left, it inevitably has to swing back to the right.

Myself personally, I'm a moderate. To be more precise, I'm a Classical Liberal and a Constitutionalist. I believe in live and let live. I'm a staunch supporter of the 1st and 2nd Amendments. Neo-Liberals do NOT believe in "live and let live", they believe in "you have to live MY way." They try to force you to adopt their bizarre ideology of 197+ genders, where EVERYTHING is either racist, sexist, or xenophobic etc... where claiming victimhood grants someone license to bully others, where we can't speak out against mass uncontrolled immigration. It is absurdity.

I never thought I'd see the day when right-wing politics is a more sane choice than these out-of-control SJW's. I truly believe that we as Americans dodged a bullet in 2016 because had Trump not been elected America would have become a borderless, genderless Marxist society and we as men would have been ostracized even moreso than we are now.

Is Trump an extremist? Yes, he is. And yet I believe he is a necessity to pull our country back towards equilibrium. I would even say that he has given me courage to speak out whereas in the past I'd be more hesitant for fear of losing my job. Now in my personal and professional life, I now feel it is my civic duty to speak out against political correctness if I feel it's being exploited by unscrupulous persons as a means to avoid personal accountability for their actions.

Yes and no. I see that those who have their heads screwed on straight aren't just sitting back and letting the liberal mindset take over the world. They are actually speaking out against it and getting their asses out there to vote. However, there aren't many (if any) people changing their mindsets.

I agree 100%. The biggest thing Trump did was make people passionate about politics and their government. There are less people sitting idly by and letting their government to as it does. They want to get out and vote.

I've been wanting to speak out for a while but felt disillusioned because the average joe wasn't redpilled enough yet to understand what was really going on - so i kinda just fell into apathy. But things got so out of hand with leftists pushing their SJW bs that even the average joe started noticing and that's when it became possible for me to engage in dialogue with them. Liberals have controlled the cultural narrative for so long that most didnt wake up until 2016.

I think it is bigger than left and right now. The whole structure of modern politics today is being called into question. An essential part of democracy was the idea of the fourth estate, a public sphere/ media relatively independent and counter-balancing the political. This itself was based on the idea of journalism.. where one would aspire to be relatively objective in discussing the various facts... and then allow the audience to draw their own conclusions. Of course, hardly anyone believes in this ideal now [probably the development of technology undermined the practical aspect of a public sphere/ public opinion.... a popular newspaper has been fragmented into thousand screens/ echo-chambers]. Rather, all are considered bias, where they divide into two incommensurable camps. Their 'worldviews'/ value systems are essentially two paradigms unintelligible to each-other... so all that is left is force of numbers... and ultimately just force. It really is the death-knell of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.

Since the 1990s people lost faith in political elites and the system is currently overcrowded.

We are living in a system change cycle.
